@WandererUber yeah i'm seeing people say that it was easier to parse when it was dubbed because the philosophy is quite dense. apparently it's one of the better dubs and makes it seem more serious.

i'm definitely a subs over dubs guy the vast majority of the time but this struck me as something that might actually work better as a dub as long as it is well done. was just wondering if it WASN'T well done lol. i'm not too worried about not understanding anything if it isn't read aloud to me in english lol.

@Dubbub @irie oh look, the guy who ran a country where it is illegal to convert to Christianity (punishable up to death) is calling for Christian unity. he only cared about Christians to the point they could be used, much like the jews do. muslims have a reason to be upset at the olympics debacle because they also revere Jesus Christ, but do you really think this dude likes Christianity? hell no.

iran is not wholly righteous simply because they oppose israel. they can murder and imprison Christians, fund terrorist groups, kill their own citizens for protesting, shut down their internet, rape children, but as long as they're against kikery they're le good guys eh?

is it so absolutely insane to hate both of them? khamenei wasn't a good person, and that should be easily identifiable to anyone who isn't ideologically captured.

i side with the Christians in Iran. i side with the Christians in the west. i reject those who use Christians for their own gain and wish to see Christianity subverted. it's not that hard of a stance to take.

i actually don't think catholics would take any real action. the max i could see beyond calls for peace and unity would be through diplomatic channels.

there are certainly muslims in the world who are saddened by khamenei's death, there are probably a lot who largely agreed with him. but are they all going to take up arms? no. and if they do, they will be crushed. you see the video of the guys rushing the US embassy in pakistan getting absolutely obliterated? good fuckin luck. there will be no "dismantling of an empire" here. we are far more likely to be dismantled from a slow decay from the jew shit, so we can and should push back against that.

the thing that really matters here is that the Iranian people wanted him gone and now he's gone. there's going to be some roughness for the time ahead, but i ultimately think this is a net positive for the world, certainly for Christians, and i'm not going to let my hatred of jewry blind me to that.

@Dubbub @irie first of all, i'm sure the entire country and every single shia muslim wants to fight america to the death, or fight at all. riiighhttt. a not insignificant portion of those 80 million iranians were just in the streets protesting, were wanting trump to take action. not to mention how many have been displaced over the years due to the regime.

second, those who do want to kill americans have wanted to this entire time regardless. they might be emboldened by this, but the desire to destroy america, Christianity, and the entirety of the west has ALWAYS been the goal for them. that goes back to the genesis of islam.

did you know iran has potentially the fastest growing Christian community in the entire world?

@Dubbub @irie we're talking about the same country that stole a nation's leader and his wife with extreme precision and without a single casualty, two months ago.

i hardly believe 3 jets going down is indicative of the "dismantling of an empire."

the three jets being shot down in kuwait was a result of friendly fire from kuwait. it is not unreasonable to think that you won't be shot down by the people you are working with. all the pilots are safe.

iran claims they shot down at least one of these jets but these are the same dudes who make like AI videos of bombing israel and can't hit the tallest building in the world with a drone lmao. they do this kind of shit all the time with their propaganda arm and historically haven't been able to back it up.

it comes down to whether you believe the US or Iran more on these things and, although both countries obviously have plenty of propaganda and conspiracies and cover ups and whatever, i place way more trust in the US than I do in fucking Iran lol. this is the same country that was just barely gunning down their own citizens en masse for protesting the regime, and then reportedly requiring families to pay for their dead loved ones' remains and cutting off the internet so people couldn't share what was happening. i can't believe anyone is siding with these maniacs just because they don't like the US or Israel.

a miku figure i ordered shipped back on january 10th and still hasn't arrived. the estimation was 4-6 weeks and the tracking info has been completely dead since jan 14th. i'm getting worried that it got lost and miku is now in the hands of some homeless dude or something :|

@irie is this an exaggeration or do you really believe that 3 downed jets is the dismantling of an empire

@irie and like everywhere else apparently lol they've attacked 14 nations I believe

just found out about this anime, ergo proxy, from a random youtube soundtrack recommendation.

i see people strongly recommending the dub over the sub. anyone wanna chime in?

my job uses AI for its training videos now. it looks so fucking unprofessional. the whole time i'm watching all i can think of is "this looks atrocious" while looking at all the inconsistencies. not even the branding is replicated correctly.

@mikuphile they're just better games flat out. These days people play clone hero or YARG as their analogs and they both let you play custom songs and all that jazz.

@MuhSocialJustice I'm just wondering if she gave birth to slenderman there to her left
