@WandererUber I know you can stream while downloading if the client and the file type supports it, and the download is fast enough. Tried it once with a movie but the download was too slow.

I've almost got all the prototyping stuff done. I sent a plug in to another programmer to see if he could add compatibility for his plug-in to it but he hasn't gotten back to me in weeks so I don't think that's going to happen. I'm just going to have to find some kind of work around and I have two ideas.

The first is to make all the item crafting done at a "crafting table" in the safe room that checks your game state and then your items to know what you can and can't craft. It'll do it more intelligently instead of making the player figure out what they have to combine by themselves.

The second is to make every single item its own entry and that would allow for crafting within the menu itself.

Not really sure which one to go with. They both have different positives and negatives. Crafting table would be easier to keep track of and works better thematically, but menu crafting is more like classic survival horror and makes players think a little bit more.

@WandererUber people prefer streaming because they don't actually know how to do anything else

@WandererUber it is more of a hassle for sure, but it's absolutely worth it because a lot of those sites are extremely annoying to use and they also don't have great quality.

It’s time for you to look inward and start asking the big questions:

Am I finally rich enough to throw all of my socks away, and replace them with 20 pairs of the same type?

@WandererUber yeah I'll usually download a season or series, watch it, then delete it.

roommate freaking out that all of his "watch anime online" sites keep going down

tell him people just need to use nyaa.si

he tells me "i wouldn't be surprised if that is down too now"

all i could do was laugh

@NotAWeeb it is a really cool design, i think that's my favorite one here too. i like the teen titans and ben 10 ones too.

@icedquinn nah it's one of those that has the peg coming out of it. like it's supposed to go through a hole in the mobo to stabilize it, but since the mobo i am trying to put into it has a screw there instead they're conflicting.

@monsterislandcolonizer @flux_the_cat i knew
they did that with the original devil may cry but not dmc3 as well. interesting! so i pretty much played the game on the original's easy difficulty, then. that makes way more sense lol the game was not hard at all.
