@MK2boogaloo it's not really the pay. i play music and work private events, both of which are pretty secure gigs and are accessible enough to me, having epilepsy, to work out really well. if i had some guaranteed shit up there that was similar and could get around easily enough i'd probably do it eventually, when it's time to move on.

@Mr_NutterButter are you talking about decibels? i wish it were that simple lol. also gotta worry a bit about power draw and how efficient the speaker is at actually pumping the audio through it. you can have a theoretical maximum decibel threshold but you won't hit that unless your conditions are perfect and mine are quite far from that.

it seem like i may just be going with buying a second one though, because the alternatives all carry some downsides whether it is cost or portability.

@MK2boogaloo am also now reading that they have legalized marijuana, no state has voted democrat less than them, they have no sales tax, and no income tax.

of course there's also stuff keeping me where i'm currently at like friends to help get me around, the little family i have left, my jobs are extremely awesome, etcetera.

Ngl if Canada had the same level of freedom that the USA did I would move there. It's colder, has a lower population, less "racial diversity," a lot more natural land, less international spending and war with a greater focus on their own people.
