What is the disconnect going on in people's minds when they put 60lbs of trash including sharp objects and liquid inside of a garbage bag?? Fuckin threw out my back lifting a busted bag into the dumpster.

@Corfiot @Sp @sandy @ChristiJunior @matrix oh yeah I know it is a generalization, but I just see it happening very often. A lot of parents don't take a very active role in their child's development and let teachers and the internet (or back in the day, tv) influence them instead.

Oh the way things might have been different if my parents didn't just ground me from my phone for a week when they caught me sexting girls over and over again instead of getting me help. There's a lot of pride involved too, like you don't want people to find out your kid has issues because then it reflects on you and makes you seem like a bad parent or something... But that's just a huge disservice to the kid. A lot of parents just want their kids to be trophies of how good of people they are.
