@pagat tears of the United Kingdom

@SNEK I've never seen goldeneye so I wouldn't know. Well I have but I don't really remember it. The leaked xbla version was pretty fun, and I actually had a lot of fun with the PS3 remake back in the day, I got really good at the multiplayer and we used to have lan parties with it.

@MK2boogaloo I wouldn't even necessarily care that much if they didn't make new games if they were busy bringing a lot more of their past games to the switch in a way that wasn't subscription-based with poor emulation.

But they are making new games. Pikmin 4 got announced, there's a few Nintendo R&D games, and tears of the kingdom has probably sucked up a lot of their resources.

I would still rather have a one-screen port of star fox zero or even just a remaster of F-zero gx though if I'm being totally honest.

alright, now bed time and we'll watch state of play when i wake up

@matana thought that was interesting, it's been a long time since i've heard anything about ib

@matana golf that is delayed xD

@emma there were like 5 farming games lol

zelda: tears of the kingdom. kind of a lame name. maybe the worst zelda name? just sounds very generic.

cloud gaming on a portable is fucking retarded

there are so many fucking farming games in this direct what the hell, are people like super into that genre right now or something?

@matana i'd rather play turok or doom 64 personally, even though they aren't that great either.

goldeneye 007 sucks, try playing it nowadays. cool that it's going to come to n64 expansion pack for too much money, but it's not that great of a game, mainly because of performance and control issues.

the best harvest moon getting a remake <3 my brother and i were just talking about how we wished a wonderful life was on switch!

fist of the north star fitness boxing wtf xD

bruh fatal frame 4?? finally! how did we get 5 in the west before 4? xD too bad i've already played the fan translation otherwise i'd be all over it.

how do they crank out so many fire emblem games? seriously it seems like new games are coming out all the time.

here we go, nintendo direct, ready for disappointment

@matana i found half life 2: update and mmod so i think i'll go with those :) they seem close enough to vanilla while also adding more options and graphical features in a pretty objectively good way and if there's anything i don't like i can just disable it :)
