i've come to realize i tend to like things people typically don't like and dislike things people typically like. i swear i don't do it on purpose to be a hipster or anything i just have weird tastes i guess.

@Halo i think it was for comedy. not exactly haha funny comedy but the traditional meaning of comedy, making something more light-hearted. someone going to the cinema and seeing a guy getting pulped back then would have been really gruesome, probably would have been a whole scandal. i mean you gotta' remember that when the exorcist came out, people were like fainting in the theater and shit. if someone just wanted to watch a good old spaghetti western they weren't going into it expecting to be watching something that seemed like an actual death, just that it was assumed to be a death.
