@matrix that's the inner senzawa gremlin coming out to play
@beardbot actually what is happening on my instance currently
@LukeAlmighty @Bill_Boone @theTDC a lot of people complain that pso2 is "pay to win" because you can buy stuff with real money, sell it for in game money, then buy the best gear... But that just means you don't get to play the game anymore lol. The whole point of the game is grinding.
Thankfully, they had stuff for me to do and agreed to pay me for the whole shift I thought I was going to have.
That's the catch 22 of not working for a big corpo I guess.
@RehnSturm256 @merchantHelios indeed! :3 sometimes they even do it not with their hand but with their teeth xD and all the guys egg on the groom. It's fun.
@RehnSturm256 @merchantHelios yes, it is a tradition for the groom to remove his wife's wedding garter and slingshot it into a group of men, like a bride does with the flower bouquet. Although that doesn't get done often where I live because, mormons
@nosleep otherwise known as sus men ![]()
@big_book_of_bug if you tell somebody something often enough it'll become their reality
@YeetLibs I would echo this statement but I don't play games that anyone likes
@f_o_u_r_t_y welcome to the family son
@JohnGritt let's not forget that Trump himself was in on pretty much the whole thing
@Bill_Boone @theTDC you sometimes get little mementos with them which can be cool, although these days it's usually just "you get 10 gun coins so you can upgrade your weapon to max, as well as this exclusive skin!" Nintendo usually does physical items for physical pre-orders though.
It's also nice for physical games so you can secure a copy for it, and in the case of gamestop at least they usually release at 10pm instead of 12am so you get a little bit of extra time with the game.
But for digital games, the only real reason to pre-order is if you want to pre-load the game. So maybe that's good for people on slow connections or something, and at least on steam you can get a refund, but still... It's mostly pointless.
