I slept for 10 hours 2 nights ago. Last night I only got 3. Can't win em all.

landl*rd company snuck in an extra $15 a month charge by making me head of household instead of having multiple heads with our updated lease. real fuckin classy.

@Mr_NutterButter websites are just super bloated these days. dude, the websites of yesteryear could load and work just fine on a fucking nintendo DS.

hey, google updated their inactive account policy. they won't be deleting any accounts that have youtube videos/comment activity :) good to hear! i was worried some old videos would get lost to time.

it's still a good idea to backup stuff! i have everything from all of my youtube channels backed up.

@Pyrrho @silvermoon82@strangeobject.space that's not to say that librewolf is bad by any means, btw. i've never used it but i'm sure it's a great browser. i just prefer chromium's layout and i wouldn't be surprised if brave is faster.

@Pyrrho @silvermoon82@strangeobject.space apparently, Tor will still fail CreepJS if you have JS turned on. it's quite rigorous and i did see a post someone made about a certain extension being the only way they could succeed it, but that extension isn't used by many people so it would be much easier to identify you based on that extension you have installed.

did you take these screenshots or did you find it somewhere else? it doesn't mean much without the proper context. the person using librewolf could just have JS disabled and/or have it very locked down. that will affect web browsing in a lot of use cases, however. i mean, you can't use pleroma without it.

brave is an amazing blend of functionality and security and it's all baked right in to the browser which makes it nice and quick.

it is important to assess your threat level, too. using Tor with JS disabled and in an amnesiac OS is not what most people need. if you're safe enough about what you do on the internet and practice good opsec then you're going to be totally fine.

re: Google Fi CPNI bullshit

@BlinkRape i just clicked the link it gave me in the email

I often remember, a thread a while back, mocking people who wanted to be friends with Jesus. "He isn't your friend bro, He is your King!" They were offended by anyone who didn't snap to, and get inline with the Church.

The disciples, were Jesus' friends. They didn't have faith, they couldn't be counted on, and they didn't do mighty works. But, Jesus treasured them on the Earth and in Heaven. Because they were His friends.

Anyone who becomes an excellent servant of the Christian Organizations, may very well miss what was most important. Their friendship with Jesus.

You could have been servants, but Jesus wanted you to be His friends. And, in His victory He wants us to be His brothers.

I hope today you will spend some of your attention on Jesus. Friendship, depends on spending your attention on the other person.

@Mr_NutterButter classic.
when i was assigned a project i actually wanted to do, i would always finish it super fast.

building a website for a HTML dev class? supposed to be a month long in-class project and i finished it in 2 days.

a 12-prompt creative writing booklet? one week.

@silvermoon82@strangeobject.space mf that kat domain doesn't even exist anymore

@NathanielHigger1488 @Pawlicker @SirPaulCouture @silvermoon82@strangeobject.space mozilla has been completely taken over and is funded by google. mozilla's founder, who hates gay marriage, founded brave.
