@critical @LukeAlmighty i have 3 monitors and a Tv all hooked up to my PC. it's definitely an infection. although i only use two most of the time.

@LukeAlmighty I can go a month without cleaning my toilet and it still will look perfectly fine. It's definitely not just lack of maintenance. Maybe lack of bodily maintenence.

@LukeAlmighty they have no direction and have just been told they need to go to school because it's the thing you're supposed to do. I have plenty of friends like this. Most of them I've been able to talk out of it, one guy though still lives with his parents half the year and goes to school the other half. He's been doing this since 2015 and I have no idea what his plan is. My brother is kind of like this too. He just got his Bachelor's degree but wants to go for his master's now, not for any particular reason, just to have it.

Apparently, there's a theory that the Zelda movie won't be necessarily "live action" but will instead use actors for the mocap and vocal performances and everything will be CG. Just like a video game but pre-rendered in much higher quality. This is because the director of the Zelda movie has apparently been doing little tech demos with this sort of thing and is really interested in it, apparently his upcoming Planet of the Apes movie uses this a lot and the majority of the scenery in Maze Runner (which he also directed) is CG as well.

Might be copium, but I would much rather see that than just straight live action

@LukeAlmighty I wouldn't have a problem with this, really. If the current direction for Zelda was to sort of start from scratch and place these new games in their own bubble, that would be fine. It's so much worse than that though because they still acknowledge directly that these games are at the end of one of the timelines, and there are so many things in BotW that point to so many other games and give references to things.

I WISH they just cut it off completely because then it could be its own thing and everyone would be happy. But it can't even get its own little timeline right then. They literally just do not care, and for the foreseeable future Zelda will probably be focused more on new gameplay ideas than it will be anything else, which is really scary when you look at what happened to Star Fox.

@xianc78 I had just assumed that whatever Ganondorf had was something so powerful that it completely destroyed the Master Sword and we would have to not only repair it but also reform it in some way. But in the end, you use the same exact sword at assumedly its same level to defeat him anyway which also doesn't make sense. Bathing it in holy light for who knows how long was only supposed to make it regain its strength, it didn't make it any stronger than what it was after completing all the trials to restore it in BotW. Unless we just weren't told about that, but then why were we not?

You could say that the secret stone (bad name BTW) which was being corrupted by Ganondorf's evil magic and together they had more power than that of the entire Triforce, I guess, but then why does that not apply for any other stone, and why did the same stone do literally nothing to save Sonia?

The story is a hobbled together mess with very poor delivery even by its own merit, and it only gets worse when you think about the rest of the franchise. It's not thought out whatsoever, the writers just thought "hey this is cool" and put it in.
