@LukeAlmighty a really big thing I keep seeing that I hate with a passion is dithered transparency. I get that it saves on resources but it looks sooooo bad.

@Mr_NutterButter @LukeAlmighty valve definitely has their fair share of weaknesses, but relative to every other company they're extremely good.

i think part of it is because they are a private company. the only people with stock in the company are the employees. that's such a better way to do business than going public and having random ass rich guys dictating shit.

My favorite band I found from the game is The Unfit. Punk band. Great stuff!!

@LukeAlmighty I highly agree with this. Which is why I thought it was unfortunate that you can only have one animal crossing island per switch.

@Mr_NutterButter Valve will even incorporate their own direct competitions' launchers into Steam. They don't have any exclusivity clauses, they're just really good. I mean, in what other launcher can you directly download and upload mods? Have entire forums for a game? Hell, a lot of other game launchers don't even have REVIEWS and the way Steam does reviews is really good.

there is currently a concentrated effort to get ffxiv's 1.0 version back online with a custom server. idk why someone would want to do that, the game was universally hated to the point they redid the entire thing. still interesting though.
