for real though i got 2x16 sticks, they'll work as an upgrade for my 2x8 ones currently but i am hoping that i'll be able to somehow fit them around my massive CPU cooler too so i can get 48gb instead. if not that's okay though, i don't expect them to fit.

just downloaded more RAM, should be finished within the next 5 hours.

i understand that artists want their art to be viewable to as wide of an audience as possible. that's why so many keep making twitter accounts after being nuked over and over again, for example. but, it really sucks to me that some feel the need to censor their own artwork just so that they won't be blocked on other servers that require censorship. you're on a free platform for a reason! i'd implore artists to make alt accounts that make use of censorship on those instances that require it.

@Mr_NutterButter he's the guy who played walking dead survival instinct and thought it was fun. the dude has absolutely no semblance of performance in games and didn't even realize blight town was laggy until i pointed it out to him. he thought it was just because the game was supposed to be like that. i have to consistently tell him to enable vsync on games because it'll be tearing all over the place and as soon as he turns it on he goes "wow that's so much better!"

i think the HDD thing is because i made the mistake of telling him, when i helped put the SSD in, "just put simple single player games where you don't care about loading times on your HDD." i think he latched on to "single player games" and took my word as doctrine.

but still, this dude never noticed/cared about all the issues that come with playing cp2077 on an HDD. wild.

when i helped my roommate swap out his SSD for an m.2 i found out that he has been playing cyberpunk 2077 on an HDD THIS ENTIRE TIME. HOW??

@ThatWouldBeTelling @Homosoypiens @Kyonko802 Nvidia gpus already have dedicated AI cores and to great effect. It's good to be tentative about it though since there are ways it can go wrong, if over reliant. I hope it accelerates computing rather than holding it back or violating privacy.

As I suspected, all I needed to fix my weird internet was to power cycle the modem. Just had to have a moment to do it that wouldn't inconvenience anyone else (because nobody wanted to wait five minutes so I could have better internet).

my shoulder and knee where i smacked against the pavement already needed their bandages changed. reapplied alcohol and new bandages and holy SHIT does it sting. that shit is probably gonna keep me awake tonight man. hopefully i'm not limping around for my shift on wednesday xD

@MordredSimp @Kyonko802 @Nanakoko they didn't get rid of (most) of his music. he doesn't make music for the game anymore and they have added the new composer's tracks, so you don't hear c418's as much.

there were some of his tracks that were removed from the game while he was still working on it, even while notch was still on i think, but idk why. there are some that only appeared on the console and pocket editions too, which now don't really exist.

i vastly prefer his music too, though. new tracks range from being okay to not fitting the game at all. my sentiment with the game in general is that it was better back in the days of the dedicated console editions before it started getting super bloated.
