It's actually been really interesting to play and compare some of the things to my own game. There are things in here I know my game does better, funny enough. I definitely can't top the soundtrack and the fact that it's a gorgeous 3D action RPG or anything like that but it's still interesting noting down some of those weak points.

It's been giving me inspiration for my game's sequel, too. I already have a very broad overview of how I want it to go but actually playing a game with a major focus on story like this for once has been sparking those creative juices in me again. The story is really good, I'm liking it a lot. Lots of mystery and intrigue, good world building too. The characters are also all very likeable, even the villains.

Damn this game looks good. After applying a fix I've got the performance pretty damn stable too. Honestly the game looks even better in motion, a photo can't really capture it but it's still so good. I'm really digging it, 7 hours in now.
