@matana that's kind of how i feel about the movie "the voices" with ryan reynolds. it's a damn good movie but it's the only one i've seen where i considered stopping it. the screenwriters are brilliantly fucked up.

@ArdainianRight i don't know if there is any actual benefit to a system like that. seems like it's way too easy to cheese.

@minespatch and maybe it's for the best because the original is now abandonware and you can just download it for free with some good mods.

@minespatch i've played about 3 hours now. it's not the greatest game of all time but it's actually surprisingly good. it just bares very little resemblance to silent hill 2. there is a lot of remixed/new content.

it'll obviously never come close to touching the original, though. it's very much its own thing and has completely different vibes.
