i'm so old, in my days the game was just called ring

@Ronnie21093 the more dlc/expansions/updates you have installed and enabled the worse the game performs though, generally speaking, so sometimes it's not best to keep updating it like that.

@Ronnie21093 best way to do it is to do a playthrough without updating at all, and then the next time you do one you update it and grab all the new dlc and stuff. That's how I do it.

i've been getting a hankering to play witcher 3 again recently. i'll have to save that for witcher 4 and just hope and pray that it's good. i really hope it will be.

witcher 3 was so fucking good.

@Jens_Rasmussen yeah they're not feats lol, they are weapon proficiencies.

Prince Vollus II and Princess Celeste. You won't meet these guys in God's Disdain but they'll be in the sequel :)

(yes this is AI, no i'm not using it in an actual video game, it is just for my d&d campaign)

@Jens_Rasmussen @LukeAlmighty a game that released *on steam* in 2024. i think that's kind of bullshit personally.

@Jens_Rasmussen the point is that there isn't anything done to counter balance a buff like this. it's just "here you go players, you can be even stronger!"

like wtf is graze. "oh sorry you missed, but guess what? you get to do damage anyway!" not even a limit to how many times it can happen, so you're constantly outputting damage no matter what.

this kind of shit should be feats, not things that are inherent to weapon proficiencies. if they wanted to make proficiencies more meaningful, they should have added an attack/damage bonus to weapons you are proficient with and then had a negative to using ones which you aren't.

and with sap, even if your team is good at setting up advantage, this gives the enemy DISADVANTAGE. it's just an extra bonus on top. it's kind of ridiculous.

@Zergling_man i'm stuck in it man, every time i try to get away there is something else that pushes me back into it lol.

i get that wotc wanted to make the weapons more distinct, but holy FUCK this is not the way to do it.

players were already powerful enough in 5e. 2024 grants players waaaaay too much power.

In hindsight, Elon Musk being the best Diablo 4 player for a little bit is all we really needed to know. Nobody trustworthy plays that much Diablo 4.

What would your KFC bucket be? Mine is 100% a new Star Fox game (that doesn't suck)
