@PurpCat @Ace66062 i've got about 2,000 hours across base jp/global and NGS. have probably only missed a couple dozen or so days since the global beta in 2020. haven't played since september though, because SEGA horrifically fumbled the main story and continue to do so :P

@Ace66062 and it's not that i think other MMOs are bad, it's that they just really are not my thing whatsoever because my brain shuts off when there is that much stuff i have to keep track of. i'm much more a fan of pso2's focus on movement, positioning, and timing, rather than having to juggle a lot of different skills.

@Ace66062 when you compare these images there is clearly one that sticks out.

a major thing that prevents me from playing mmos is the extreme amount of buttons you have to press, coupled with the ui clutter. this is why i liked runescape so much when i was younger and why i like pso/pso2 a lot as well. they are so much more simple and elegant.

every single time a new mmo comes out it'll pique my interest, but then i look at the gameplay and it's all just a shit ton of who knows what on the screen and that is an instant turn off for me.

@ins0mniak @RustyCrab @pwm i once asked one to forward some ports for me (lived in an apartment so i couldn't do it myself) and he said "your ports are already open" thinking i was talking about the physical ports in the wall and the router. we went back and forth for some time and then he just hung up.
