i just found out there's a pokemon emerald decompilation? but seemingly no PC port for it. that's kind of weird. i guess nobody wants to do it since the game is piss easy to run on an emulator anyway and if anyone wanted to change something about it they could just change it in the decomp and build a new rom.

Reminds me of a story I heard about how Vatican sponsored archeologists digging under the dome of the rock (at the behest of the Muslim community of Jerusalem) found a chamber that was of significant importance to some story of Jesus's time in Jerusalem and immediately had to contact every Christian group in the city to show up to the site otherwise the Isreali government would have cordoned it off and immediately destroyed it.
