i found out what was wrong with the music app i use. i was clicking "shuffle music" instead of "shuffle favorites" so it included auto-generated playlists. i'd randomly get shit i'd never favorited and things i thought i'd favorited were no longer there. they were just on different releases.
i'd also notice songs playing way more frequently than other ones. i only have 3 sleep token songs for instance, but i kept hearing them all the time and i'd get basically no blue october or never shout never, which is a lot of my library.
now i've got a much better mix of stuff. was considering going back to spotify because i legitimately thought deezer was bugged.
