BIG UPDATE
Employees from major music studio YAB, which frequently works with Nijisanji, have been accused of photographing the girls without their knowledge. Nijisanji itself seems to have confirmed this by issuing a thesis-long legal statement that anyone implying Nijisanji's involvement (instead of YAB's) will be prosecuted.
What the whistleblower also accused YAB of was drugging and raping some of the girls. There's no hard evidence of this, though there is enough circumstantial evidence to warrant an investigation. Japs are saying the girl's drinks were likely spiked with MDMA, which is a known thing in the Japanese music industry. There's the question of how YAB could have recorded their faces and bodies without the girl being intoxicated. Nijisanji's statement also included an accusation of "illegal physical force", which would describe rape in a courtroom setting.
Niji does come off as a victim here, and YAB has likely done this to others as well. They're a mainstream multimillion dollar studio. What no one seems to be talking about is the fact that if the whistleblower hadn't come out, Nijisanji and others would've been happy to just sit on this and do nothing about it. There's apparently long been rumors and anonymous accusations that YAB is full of sexual predators. Rumors which seems to have been proven true.

@beardalaxy the "vaccine" that the fireflies planned on implementing through the dumbest way possible suggests that the fireflies had no competency in creating a vaccine for a fungal infection. Nor the logistics to send a successful vaccine out.
Fungus targets those with insufficient immunity. A culling blade made of mushrooms. Given immunity boost to those who have no immunity would be a waste of time and effort.
The most effective thing for the fireflies to do is destroy cordie hives and stop attacking the military like retarded terrorists lead by a nigress. And to not act like villains against a childless father that de facto adopted daughter.
They signed their own death warrants.
It is more useful that Joel gets his daughter to raise than both to die for a nothing burger of a cure. The only cure to the fungus is to kill it where ever it amasses.
