So.. be gay every June. Call it Junesexual and dare them to say anything.

@histoire @beardalaxy Me, letting my boss know I’m about to head to the beach after lunch break

I found out today that if you are LGBT at my work, you get paid days off during June so that you can go to pride parades and shit.

It would be really great if Linux distributions stopped bundling Firefox as the default browser and go with LibreWolf or PaleMoon instead.

Went ahead and listened to some Blind Faith today. The instrumentation is fantastic and I never had a doubt it would be. The vocals, however, aren't really quite up to snuff and they make it hard to listen to.

Absurd levels of sadness

This is the most devastating album you'll ever listen to. It details the death of the artist's (Phil Elverum) wife just a little while after they had their daughter and his struggle with it. It was recorded in the room that she passed away in. Someone in the comments of a video said it's like listening to someone going through immense grief in real time, and I have to agree. That's because it is.

Although it is fictional, I draw a lot of comparisons to the album "We Don't Have Each Other" by Aaron West. It is a concept album about a divorce after the death of an unborn child.

I don't know if anyone feels the same way, but I've always felt a certain catharsis to listening to someone deal with what they are struggling with through music. It's why I love Blue October so much. Maybe it's because I'm a musician and I empathize with that feeling. Writing and performing songs about things that deeply affect you does help you deal with them and I think it can go a long way to help others too, in ways you never even intended.
