Damn, second night in a row where I'm just not tired in the slightest. Can't sleep no matter how hard I try or what I do. I feel more awake than I have at any point for the past few days. How can I be so lucid and feel so good on so little sleep? Just not when it matters, like at work where I'm a total zombie. As soon as I get home it's just back to being energetic again. It's got everything to do with my mood I'm sure. I have so many things at home that I'm so excited about and I think it just sets that spark.

It's also probably the fact that I see my lack of sleep as a problem to be solved and, rather than relax which is what I should do, my brain goes into that mode where I get an absurd amount of motivation to fix something. I can't quiet down for long enough to actually allow myself to relax and I can feel it physically too, like there is an electric current running through my veins.

Video game graphics already look good enough. They have for the better part of the last decade and we are at the point of diminishing returns. Imo, the thing that AAA studios should be focusing more effort on is physics simulation. That will help the game worlds feel much more immersive, by exponential amounts. I want to see reactive water, cloth, dirt, sand, trees, grass, everything.

I can see a lot of issues coming from playing as Ciri, now that I think of it. She can travel through time and even enter different dimensions and stuff. How tf are they going to incorporate that?

My guess is that she traveled to a time where it was actually possible for her to complete the trial of the grasses, and that fucked with her ability to actually do that kind of travel to some degree. At least, that would be the easiest and probably best way to write themselves out of such a deathly corner.

I guess this is why sequels aren't necessarily good things sometimes.

how tf were there so many people upset that they couldn't make money off of their minecraft servers? especially when they apparently were making shit business decisions like paying youtubers and advertisers thousands of dollars to promote it instead of pushing that into their server costs themselves?

"you don't get it, our server wouldn't exist if we weren't making a profit off of it!"

okay, fuck you, good riddance. if people don't see anything valuable enough in your server to either pay to play it or donate enough for it to be at least somewhat sustainable for you, a hobbyist that definitely shouldn't be making a career off the back of someone else's game through tactics they don't support... maybe your server shouldn't stick around.
