i had to set some reference because by then videogames didn't exist yet.

DOOM 1 is as old now as The Doors and Pink Floyd were when DOOM 1 came out.

Halo 1 is as old today as Pacman and Donkey Kong were when Halo 1 came out.

Half Life 2 is as old today as After Burner, Contra and Street Fighter I were when Half Life 2 came out.

@Mr_NutterButter @takenori You mean the ones protruding from the books? those are just planes with texture.

If you mean the side of the books, that's a material with a bump map to simulate the pages.
