I just realised @matrix had about 7 TB of GLC user uploads on my server and I never bothered to look at any of them. I was never even curious.
TFW I'm legit realising I have a tonne of respect for users privacy.
I know the few times I've had to troubleshoot Fedora Email (and got the user's consent to look in their inbox to find the email causing trouble) I've always diverted my eyes and tried my best to only register the relevant email.
I guess I'm just naturally uncomfortable invading people's privacy even if I have full access to the data.
This revolution makes me feel a little more qualified to be doing shit like running Shitty Services

@lewdthewides @LukeAlmighty @pomstan Yes, but it's 4 at minimum and it splits the files into chunks between the drives which makes it quite resource heavy

@applejack Technically nothing broke. I just underestimated how long it would take by a factor of around 100x
@r000t I wanted to shrink and move a 10tb partition several times while moving the files from it to a new one on the same drive.
I was running out of space and haven't setup lvm beforehand
