Turn based PVP game "Pyradice" was released recently. It has a native Linux version and is available DRM free on Itch. It was made with the FOSS Godot engine.
FOSS text based Pokemon style RPG "Pokete" has been updated to version 0.9.2. This update fixes three bugs. The game code is lciensed using GPLV3.0. The game can be downloaded from Github as an App Image, from the AUR, from Flathub, or built from source. The game was made using the FOSS scrap engine which is licensed using GPLv3.0.

FOSS mobile OS PostmarketOS has been updated to version 24.06. This update brings newer versions of Plasma, Phosh, SXMO, and Gnome, adds the ability for for initramfs to export logs on boot failure, removed hardcoded dependency on PulseAudio in UI packages, updates to kernels and more. If you're to get rid of Android and run something closer to pure Linux this may be worth a look for you. It is also a great option if you have a Pine64 device such as the Pinephone, Pinebook Pro or RockPro 64. PostmarketOS is based off of Alpine, uses BusyBox for the init system and ext4 for the file system.

Natural Immunity on the Rise
While the VRBPAC meeting aimed to select the annual COVID-19 strain, epidemiological data presented by CDC officials demonstrated that hospitalization rates and deaths are at their lowest point since 2020. Additionally, data demonstrated that high rates of natural immunity (90 to 99 percent) existed in children ranging from infancy to 17 years of age by the end of 2022. Similarly, data noted that for individuals from age 16 to over 65 years of age had also attained high rates of natural immunity (72 to 89 percent) by the summer of 2023, which some committee members later lamented as influencing low COVID-19 vaccine uptake.
