Someone DM'd me asking who I was talking about; I hadn't said who, but I conversed with them briefly and it got me thinking. Holy fucking shit, @thebitchisback was dead-on. @colonelj is @Nobody/@Hitler@neckbeard.xyz/@Xena@kiwifarms.cc/etc.

Same patterns overall, you know. Belligerent and stupid, no remorse. Compulsive screenshitting, then posting the screenshits without context. Same talking points, same shitty reading comprehension, same complete disregard for figuring out if they were spewing bullshit before spewing it. And you have colonelj occasionally making veiled reference to Jews, I figured, "Hey, closet racist, lovely" and just sorta forgot about it. But you've got Nobody, the "anonymous" guy, just constantly spamming stupid "did u know jews eat babies" memes from Gab. Exactly what a person would do if they were afraid to say what they really think and they were kind of a sociopath: maintain the regular persona and post their bullshit from the anonymous one.

@colonelj and @Nobody both made it their business to harass @jojo and then harass me over @jojo, then they both lay into me when I ban @Nobody. Between that and claiming I hate freezey peaches, claiming I'm somehow jealous of Torba, accusing me of being an agent of something (I'm only a Mossad *contractor*), constantly sending these cloying, pathetic reply-guy posts to ladies, they're both fixated on the same shit. 100% topical overlap.

So I says to the guy at some point, "Hey, fucker, eventually I'm going to get annoyed enough that I'll be motivated to do language analysis and figure out who you are" and he starts demanding what I mean, acting paranoid, and I describe to, I don't know, it was either @FailurePersonified or @bagofshit how the algorithm would work, how to discard @Nobody's copypasta, etc. I didn't need to, though, because @thebitchisback already noticed the simping.

So that was bouncing around my head some and then I thought "Hey, I should repurpose that Gab bot-detector thing I did". Part of that was designed to detect bots by checking how flat the 24-hour schedule was: bots don't sleep, people do. Another part of it was detecting how often the bot did something that filled the timeline up (post or repost) versus how often they did a Like/Follow/whatever. It's not hard to tweak it ever so slightly to restrict it to @Nobody alts instead of Gab users, etc.

It turns out they've got the same fucking sleep schedule, variance in the schedule, and ratio of post/repost to other activities (indicating the same habits), which is because they're the same guy. @Nobody is @colonelj. It's the same fucking guy. If I were going to do language analysis, I've just stopped having a search problem and it's *just* analysis now.

Though it's important I've always wanted an instance that's general and something I could say to my friends. #GameLiberty is a name I can write off as a gaming-focused instance, but many would probably already yikes at a site named Free Speech E X T R E M I S T, and same (albeit for different reasons) for intentionally niche instances like smugloli, blobcat, absturztau and everything else recommended on that #fuckgab website that led me to this.

I guess this really just runs to the point of why the #fediverse won't gain mass adoption without a single instance dominating and succeeding on its own - it's completely contradictory. Even #email is giants-controlled, with literally all but a few of my classmates on #gmail!

So I was wrong about my #Pleroma first impressions - it's not a 'lite' version of #Mastodon and my other account can access this mastodon FE that I prefer with just a single click. That's cool - Mastodon is just a way to get people into the #fediverse but I want to dissociate eventually from those anti-freespeech censors
