I took a small break a few days from working on my next drawing to go relax in Second Life! This game is always very cozy to me.
For some months, I've been meaning to make my other OC, Kraell and finally took the plunge. This is damn close to his original concept art!
Once a human of tall stature and brute strength until his last breath on the Mortal Realm, he continued his next life as a vicious demon.
Kraell has been growing more and more unruly and possessive of his warlock as a consequence of the imbalance of the realms and causing all sorts of trouble for Velnohs and Elegos in their journey! Sometimes he needs to be corrected! 💢
I am starting my own VTA since these other orgs seem to restrict everyone’s content like crazy and condone their Talent’s awful habits.
Yumejin Studios. I plan to bring in “brand risk” creators too, I hate the industry standard.
@beardalaxy many years ago, eBay didn't require your social security number and I was selling here and there. Now pretty much all internet marketplaces require your SS so they can report the $3.50 you earned to the IRS. The exception is probably something like Craigslist but I never tried it for collectibles. In the collectors circles I was in many years ago, I never heard of anyone buying stuff off Craigslist or looking there for rare stuff.
I am now dealing with Mercari and it gets a lot of interest for the type of junk I'm selling. 10 minutes into listing something, someone tried to buy it (compared to less than 8 views on eBay for an entire week!) and then they apologized because they "didn't have enough funds".
Yes you do, in fact, NEED MONEY TO BUY THINGS. Hello?! Jesus Christ, man. Do not overdraft your bank for a piece of plastic.
I've been dealing with people like this for many years and I look forward to the day I get rid of all this junk and regret buying it in the first place! Also totally looking forward to paying taxes on all this horseshit because even though it's not worth a lot, it does add up due to all the bulk I have. We can't have poorfags making an extra couple hundred a year, right?
I can't sell my stuff locally because I'm mostly selling collectibles from Japan and I'm sure people will only pay $1 and maybe a cum sock for anything I offer because they're just looking for cheap shit locally. It has to be sold to collectors online.
Also, someone had a total meltdown on me this weekend because they got sniped in an auction and wanted me to cancel the other person's sniper bid after they lost. Called it "cheating". lol
I had to block the retard and ban them from my store because they wouldn't stop crying to me. Not sure if it was an adult or not at that point. They lost out of their own incompetence by not placing their highest bid down. And tbh, the person had asked if the starting bid was something they could buy immediately so I don't think they even have money to bid whatever they want. Sadly, a lot of "collectors" will get in debt over this shit.
Did eBay die off or something?
I'm getting shit views on everything I list lol
I paid to boost a listing I can't seem to sell at all for months and it's still at 0 views since Saturday. What a great waste of $2! I even set the listing to 99 cents too.
I got scammed on eBay back in 2019 with a pre-order because the guy never sent the order. He must have also been a repeated offender but due to the time limitation of feedback, people can't leave negative feedback from undelivered pre-orders. I had pre-ordered it many months before. It took everything (even calling eBay on the phone!) and a call-out post on Twitter to get over $100 back that I got scammed from. Pre-orders spanning months are actually not allowed on eBay but of course, they never take down those listings in violation. If you can't ship it out within 30 days of payment, it's against policy.
Definitely don't do pre-orders on there. I probably just answered my own question too if people are having negative experiences often like with scamming. lol
But I used to sell on there a bit so I'm surprised the traffic on listings are awful now.
The only other place I can think of is Mercari but I hate dealing with the offer system because people will always low ball you. It's an issue with everything I list on Mercari and it can't be turned off like on eBay.
@Mr_NutterButter He just likes to wear girly clothes (in secret!)! He has slightly plump thighs but a boxy shaped torso.
@amerika He just has awful work ethic and no respect for people's money and it will bite him in the ass soon, I'm sure!
Also I am making more progress than the fucking clown that owes me a commission since over a year ago. He got a new tablet because now his old was "dying" and now tells me "he needs to adjust to it".
But I switched from working on a mobile tablet for years ago to working on a PC tablet immediately. Pathetic and I don't think I will use his commission anyways.
Sometimes I feel bad I can't complete art quickly but I am working on it the best I can. I have transitioned to using my computer and tablet now with CSP. The mobile version is just difficult to work in.
The program is probably is too complex to optimize it for mobile and it would need serious reworks. They really should make it less clunky if they expect people to pay for mobile CSP on a subscription. And I sadly had to let go of Infinite Painter due to the lag as I add many layers. The drawback is that if my hypersomnia flares up badly, I can't work on art at all because I'm stuck in bed. 😴
I wasn't so much of an ape as I thought with bodies! But it's definitely still difficult for me to know how everything moves or the perspective... The main body I drew definitely isn't perfect.
There are some changes I am making to Elegos's face from the first round of chibis I did. The eye shape is less "bug eyed" and more in line with how I made Velnohs's eyes. I tried to fix the bug eyes in the chibi but with the colors being laid out already, I couldn't do much.
This piece will have multiple body shots and a "safe" and ecchi version. I don't expect to complete it for another month but it's been fun to work on! My goal is to draw otokonoko as actual boys and not as females with flat chest and wider hips. But also not that there is anything wrong with drawing them that way! It's important I keep in mind male anatomy, like how males are more boxy and with wider chest. Elegos is actually not that curvy and more slim compared to Vel's pudgier shota body.
Velnoh's reference sheet will come after this. I just needed the Elegos first for a background I'm doing for my website.
The jackass of all trades.
