Fell into another weird rabbit hole, this time of peculiar cellphones that are actually functional with a sim card.

I want to go back to monkey so I can use the Hello Kitty flip phone. :feelsbadman: Also featured some definitely not Coca Cola and Pepsi cellphones. Calo Caco and Ppesi.

I had a Trovo account and it's not under ANY email I have, even my fake ones. The site is weird because it also has absolutely no support ticket system at all. They have some support chat, that ironically, also needs you to log in. Bruh, I lost my account so how can I even log in? lol

That's an odd way to run a site that doesn't let you recover your account. I think I streamed on there once many years ago.

I also "heard" that Kick is paying streamers even if nobody watches them. Unsure how true this is, as I heard it from a fren. However, they are covering the $25 fee for breaking Twitch's contract and moving over to Kick. They are really trying to get people to drop Twitch.

I won't stop streaming on Pomf and support the service on SubStar because it really is an awesome service with no replacement but you just never know, specially when something is basically a one man show. It's good to have accounts in other similar places, too.

Assuming I can even get into the Japanese servers tomorrow, I will be streaming 's launch day on Tuesday at around 11pm EST on Pomf. :pepeOk:

pomf.tv/stream/Veru

One of my good frens from my Blade & Soul ranking static is also joining me. I'm going into the game mostly blind and expecting the launch to be rocky with queues and disconnects, as I have yet to play an MMO that had a smooth launch in all my 20 years into the genre. I'll try to start the stream when I'm finally able to login!

I'll be going with Heavy Smasher, as this unique class caught my attention from the start and it has off tanking capabilities. I either play tank or range in MMOs.

We are aiming to get as much game time until we either get shitcanned by Bandai during maintenance or the language barrier becomes too heavy to bypass. We are mostly interested in seeing how the action combat performs and will hopefully pick the game back up whenever Amazon stops being busy sucking cocks and releases the global version.

Artist that owes me a $400 commission for a year and a half now

@beardalaxy Also an artist who does that type of artwork, takes commissions, and SPEAKS ENGLISH LOL

Because I follow a good bunch of SFW shota and otokonoko artists from Japan but the Western ones are all primarily doing coom content. The language barrier is too brutal to commission the JP artists.

Artist that owes me a $400 commission for a year and a half now

@beardalaxy I mostly get artists off Twitter and most will not do it this way because both sides can have bad people, like commissioners who don't pay the remaining balance after the commission is done. Plenty of threads warning people about that and also those who also ask for sketches and cut off all communication and run away with them to bring to another artist, which is just bizarre to me personally. lol

That is probably my issue: Getting artists off a site that doesn't have the most stable people using it. I also ran into an issue with an artist on Minds, too.

Unfortunately for me and my characters, it's harder to find people who will draw them without sifting through a bunch of NSFW and why I tend to stick to 1-3 known artists I know since years ago. I'm prone to addiction, so I have cut off most NSFW content entirely and was also a reason why I had to get off Baraag, though I'm doing better and have more control now so I may be able to return someday just to post art on there. Trying to find an artist who draws shota or femboys who isn't primarily doing porn is like a needle in a haystack imo. My best solution was really to just do it myself at this point. I don't have issues with people who make that type of content but I know myself and I really should try to limit my exposure to it.

After being burned so many times, I really started to question why I was paying other people if I actually really like my own drawing style and should work on it instead.

:omegalul:

I don't even understand how retarded the store owner has to be to think that someone in a literal war zone could even ship out an order. There was no way that shit was going to be able to ship even if finished. I felt I would be scammed. This all happened during last year as the war broke out.

And some irony is that I had already been working with someone else prior on getting the horns, tail, an outfit and two wigs made. That was 7 months prior and I didn't see where the cosplay store was located and found out two weeks later when they refunded me because the artist was in Ukraine and she had to close down their business to leave the country. A completely reasonable and understandable situation on why they had to cancel my order. At least I had sent the money right before the war started so she still hadn't made anything with it yet.

So I figured it's best to get someone within the USA because of what was happening in Europe. Only for this fuckwit to send my order back out into the war zone. 🫠

@matana Do you mean for the cosplay? Yes, it had a deadline of 6 months and the cosplay store failed to communicate at all when I kept pressing on close to the deadline. When I started the dispute, they tried to appeal to emotion and admitted they out sourced the work overseas to fucking Ukraine of all places when it was literally a war zone. The pictures they sent of the horns were all in pieces, unpainted, and not even put together yet despite the deadline coming in like a week. They didn't show the tail either. Extremely irresponsible and dishonest. They also chose to refund me after their sob story when I stated I will not give them a 5 star review even if they finished it because the terrible communication and being dishonest were the orders are being made didn't warrant a 5 star at all. If they're bad at running the store, then people should know instead of sweeping it under the rug trying to lure in more customers to get screwed.
This was a store that claims to run in the USA. It's no wonder all their orders are late if they are shipping it from overseas while claiming to be American.

I only give people that long to complete anything because that's when the Buyer Protection runs out as almost all of them only do Paypal. I won't let it go over 6 months unless I've worked multiple times with the person before but most of my commission work should definitely not take months to complete. I typically only get single full bodies. The art guy just completely dropped the ball on being responsible. He has stated multiple times that the commission will be "done this month" then fucks off completely and comes back with another sob story. lol
Worst part is I needed this shit done at least a year ago to use for my stream and YT channel and he knows this, too.

Artist that owes me a $400 commission for a year and a half now

@beardalaxy I personally don't know any artists that do half payments like this but I feel people should just not undertake work they can't complete regardless of the payment plan.

I have already dealt with 4 artists unable to finish work and that is just too damn much in the span of 1 year! And this isn't exclusively to drawing artists, as I had a cosplay artist last year also try to prolong the horns and tail I needed for my doll past the Buyer Protection of Paypal. They already had negative reviews on their page from orders being late and it looks like they were just cramming orders. That along with abysmal communication and finally only replying once I started a dispute. To this day, he still doesn't have proper horns or the tail and I got annoyed enough that I don't want to deal with trying to get another person plus these two pieces will run me over 1k USD at most cosplay places. Don't have funds like this currently. 😅

The guy's art is really good imo so I felt the price was justified since the outfits are detailed and it also includes two small animal pets. Plus I ain't gonna lie but my OC's horns and tails are a nightmare to draw and something even I still have trouble with. But I think most people would feel $400 is indeed too much for art. I had gotten past commissions and the last two have gone really bad with him struggling to complete them unless I keep poking him. It's like dealing with a child. I haven't found an artist with a similar style to his that does commissions and excels at drawing cute males.

Not everything they sell is total junk, like this cozy pizza blanket although I think the picture they have here is an ACTUAL pizza. :omegalul:
The Shining inspired statue also looks quite good!

I found some underwear that "protects your children" but I don't know if having a plastic dome covering your nuts is very practical at all!

Lastly, a very friendly Harambe shirt. :peepoComfy:

Artist that owes me a $400 commission for a year and a half now

There's a certain artist that still owes me a big commission after a year and half. I'm at the point where I feel my art is decent enough that I don't even need his commission anymore either. :omegalul: I don't even want to use it because he has been such a headache to deal with. Do I even want to promote a person like this?

Guy keeps fucking off for months/weeks without working on it. Keeps popping back up when I confront him about it and says that he got depressed again and can't work on anything. Don't know how this guy even lives or hopes to make a living off art if he can't get anything done. He can't even work on the shit he keeps piling on from other clients. I feel at this point, he's better off filing disability from his depression if his country even offers it. He seems to be well enough to keep playing Overwatch and Minecraft though instead of working, since I have him added on Discord.

This is extremely frustrating and he's actually so close to getting it done. But he shades like 1 pixel and then shows me the "progress". Since he barely shades anything, of course it's taking so long. If he just shades the damn thing and adds the background I requested, then he would be done. He definitely doesn't want to work on it anymore but he keeps insisting he wants to finish it to "add to his portfolio". I think he has his work ethic to worry about more than his portfolio at this point.

Some of these guys have no issue taking money and spending it then never finishing the work they owe. This isn't the first artist that does this to me either but certainly the worst one so far. With the others, at least I have been able to get my money back or they finish just right before the buyer protection runs out. Of course I don't commission them ever again after.

This is actually one of the reasons I started to do my own art now. I'm tired of dealing with people like this. I already had the foundation to get started because I've been drawing most of my life. I just need to refine my skills at lot.

If you're wondering why I have even let it get to this point and you're thinking I'm retarded, then you are correct! I absolutely can't justify not putting my foot down on this. I won't let something like this occur again for sure. I'm too forgiving sometimes and it bites me in the ass.

Hell, I struggle with completing art too but the difference is I'm not getting paid for it and it's not my full time job either. This is why I won't ever do commissions and my inability to work on it is due to physical health issues, too. I know depression is also crippling but then I feel the guy shouldn't be handling money at this point.

I feel my patience is at its limit but I'm in a shitty situation where the commission is SO CLOSE to done and asking for a refund feels pointless after this much work is done. It's a very lovely commission of my OCs! :pepeHang: I'd rather just have it, honestly.

@beardalaxy ty fren. I'm going to watch it right now!
I actually really love Shrek 1&2. There's something about these movies that always makes it feel like I'm watching them for the first time. I feel the pacing for it is just perfect. Each part of the movie doesn't feel rushed and it's a good time. Though I still think the original is better than the sequel.

I haven't bothered to watch the rest because I heard they sucked and it was just milking the franchise at that point.

@veru if you rewatch shrek you should watch shrek retold. it's an acid trip of a movie but it's fun. the little bits that are changed catch you completely off guard.

So a couple of days ago, the site recommended a random Shrek tapestry and once I clicked on it, my entire feed got completely derailed with weird tapestries and other bizarre shit I'll put in the next post. Now I really want to rewatch Shrek. :pepeLaugh3:
