@coolboymew @hj I would probably go blind from eye-strain because I would probably be staring at a computer screen for 18 hours straight. And I don't like the idea of staying overnight at an office, especially when a lot of offices turn off heating at night and the open-concept nature of most office buildings means you will be hearing everything including your co-workers snoring and talking in their sleep.
Also, it's much easier to work from home these days with things like Git and SSH, so there is no need to stay overnight at the office or work ridiculous hours.
@coolboymew @hj I don't get why people think Sakurai willingly overworking himself shows dedication. It's actually pretty common in Japan, especially with game developers. I even hear about people bringing in cots and sleeping bags to their offices and sleeping there overnight when they are working on big projects.

@coolboymew I remember when the Virtual Console was announced for the original Wii and thought it was the coolest thing ever, but with each new console, it's becoming more disappointing. And with the Switch it's the absolute worst. I'm not paying a monthly fee to play 30 year old NES and SNES ROMs.

Isn't it amazing how people's trite, idiotic delusions mean we let them get away with making demands like this? Like how you don't have to wear a face mask if it triggers you or whatever.
I'm no statist or conformist but if you're going to make LOGISTICAL DEMANDS of people based on the unflinching requirements of things like virus contagion or facial recognition algorithms, how do you justify waiving them for bullshit reasons like "I believe in submission to Allah so I'm not allowed to look beautiful"? If the system can function without those requirements being met, why do the rest of us have to meet them?

I like the way many Leftists seems to think that companies get away with bad things because capitalism, and not because they are protected by the state.
Setting aside the fact they don't seem to understand that "Capitalism" means (hint: it means private ownership), the more free market you have, the more punishment the market can give bad actors.
Don't want an Android or an Apple? Well tough luck, because those companies are protected not by the free market (which simply doesn't have that power) but by their cronies in government.
Apple is being shitty, but Capitalism will protect them! Ah, no, its government regulations to prevent competition that protects big business, my friends.

@daphailwhale What emulator are you using? Even if your emulator doesn't have an option to disable layers it might have a tile-viewer and you can rip the sprites that way.
