@thestrongest @Accela_Addict The libertarian in me wants to believe that the government started pushing it, so they could justify increased censorship, mass surveillance, social credit, etc by making racism, the far right, etc look like a bigger threat than it actually is.

@thestrongest @Accela_Addict Politics use to be about the boring stuff like taxes and health care until people started throwing race, gender, disability into the mix. Now it's about obsessing over identity and "oppression".
