@medli @coolboymew Minish Cap is extremely underrated but the kinstone mechanic and that one figurine quest for a single heartpiece can go fuck off. Majora's Mask handled sidequests much better.

@Rude@kys.moe @crunklord420 I heard that these limitations that these "fantasy consoles" impose prevents clueless devs from being overly ambitious and encourages them to start small. I can't tell you how many amateur game developers quit early on because they couldn't even finish a Super Mario clone.

@crunklord420 I think a HolyC-like language would be perfect for one of those "fantasy consoles" like Pico-8 given that it makes graphics programming much easier.
