I bet you are banned from most anime conventions in your area.
@cee No. It's already bad enough that I'm taking longer than the 4-years at uni. Having dreams about going back to high school makes me feel worse. Especially after hearing stories about adults (19-21; being 18 in high school is normal) still in high school and how miserable they feel.
@cee I keep on having dreams about still being in high school or having to go back to high school, and I keep on going WTF?
@icedquinn @allison Good point. Maybe eventually, we can get black market ISPs.
@icedquinn @allison Yeah, that's my main complaint with vendors who only offer crypto as a payment option. I understand when it comes to vendors that offer both crypto and fiat, but if you only offer crypto, there is no need to price by the fiat equivalent.
@icedquinn @allison Well, it's the only crypto-supported hosting provider I know of that is run by agorists.
@icedquinn @allison You can host a website while escaping the banking cartel here:
@PG_Chrys Honestly, what the point of doing this when you can just use fingerprints?
@ArdanianRight @ChristiJunior @rasterman @waltercool Just let them form their own communes away from us. If the commies don't fuck with us, then they're fine.
@ChristiJunior @rasterman @waltercool Okay, once the commies tread on your property (NAP violation), then you give them the Pinnochet treatment.
@ChristiJunior @rasterman @waltercool Libertarians idolizing Pinnochet is just a meme. What those like Hans Herman Hoppe mean by "physical removal" has nothing to do with dropping commies off of helicopters. It just means to cut ties with those who have those beliefs (deny them service, employment, mutual-aid, etc.).
@beardalaxy You're right. You can't 100% prove if a service is 100% reliable. You need to make an educated guess based on the terms of service, privacy policy, the history of the service, etc. I wouldn't recommend ProtonMail for the shear fact that you can't use third-party clients like Thunderbird which by proxy means you can't generate your own GPG keys if you want to send encrypted email. And ProtonMail has openly admitted to giving data to various governments. It's probably better than Gmail, but not ideal. I wouldn't recommend it if you were doing something like black/gray market trading.
Personally, I would recommend either cock.li (if you can get an invite), fedora.email (which is run by @sjw) or Posteo (which costs 1 EUR per month). However, if you have the technical knowledge, a spare computer, and a decent enough internet speed, hosting your own email server is the best option.
However, email is a fundamentally flawed system. It's probably the most insecure electronic communication system that is widely used today. XMPP+OMEMO encryption is probably your best bet if you want to have the most secure means of communication.
Reminder that ProtonMail is a honeypot and gives its data to governments.
