Does your game have permadeath?

>the real reason lies somewhere between "the guy involved sucks shit at tech" and "they got bullied by weebs", not "everyone fediblocked them"

Wasn't the original Gab codebase, before they federated, just some random PHP code they found off of GitHub? That just shows how incompetent Torba is. These people don't have passion for computers they either decided to form a new social network out of necessity or just want to cash in on those who have been deplatformed. I really hate how most right-wingers and other dissidents are this tech-illiterate.

And I remember people going after Gargron for refusing to add features like a hardcoded block for Gab or even a way to block all Pleroma instances (that would require all messages to include their instance software which I don't think ActivityPub has).

This is how the author describes itself.

Ana Valens is a reporter specializing in online queer communities, marginalized identities, and adult content creation. She is a former Daily Dot staff writer. Her work has appeared at Vice, Vox, Truthout, Bitch Media, Kill Screen, Rolling Stone, and the Toast. She lives in Brooklyn, New York, and spends her free time developing queer adult games.

Essentially, the author is a journo who makes tranny porn games…

Though I do feel that Gargron is a faggy leftist, and has done some undeniably shitty things, I think that he should consider that the community with which he surrounds himself hates him and will always hate him. They are narcissists who want credit for simply suggesting features. There is nothing that Gargron can do to satisfy them; these people hate him for being a white man.

Instead of hanging around faggots who hate him, why not realize that the funnest and most accomplished communities (Encyclopedia Dramatica, 4chan, pre-2014 Reddit) have always had very loose moderation. On mastodon.social, anyone who’s not a tranny has to walk on eggshells for anything they say. Who remains? the people who are so sensitive that they need content warnings. This is why rules-laden hugboxes are a bad idea.

I think if Gargron truly understand on a deep emotional level that these people are narcissists who will always hate him, he’d reconsider what he’s pushing for the future of Mastodon. Perhaps consider that defederation because trannies is mob appeasement, which never works.

@bot @PhenomX6 @alex @SuperDicq @lanodan @aven @sim I mean, at least the Pleroma team doesn't have fucking plural systems, at least not any that I'm aware of.

@bot @PhenomX6 @alex @SuperDicq @lanodan @aven @sim Okay, but the drama is still the same.

I actually used to lurk lgbt.io out of pure bile fascination. Holy shit, the drama and the sensitivity was unbelievable.

@PhenomX6 @alex @SuperDicq @lanodan @aven @sim What does it include? Hard-coded instance blocks or regex filters for slurs like what Lemmy has?

@PhenomX6 @alex @SuperDicq @lanodan @aven @sim Why do Pleroma users think all Mastodon instances are hugboxes when their software is still developed by the same types you find on Mastodon?

xianc78 boosted
@alex @SuperDicq @lanodan @aven @sim why do mastodon instances block pleroma instances when the developers clearly support getting kids hooked on drugs too?

@PhenomX6 @shebang Fucking this. I never got why people use 3D engines to make 2D games. Just use Love2D or MonoGame if you are going to go that route.

I fucking hate the Unity game engine so much I can't express it and I'm pretty articulate.

I think my hate and frustration of it goes so far beyond normal human experience the words -- nay, -- the very concepts, haven't been invented yet.

@ryo I wouldn't say that the "real" virus will end up in Africa. The coronavirus that was simulated in Event 201 was in Mexico but COVID ended up being in China.

Seems like they're planning on yet another scamdemic next year.
Looking at the participating countries + the "an epidemic located in one part of the world" and "affecting children and young people" parts, it looks like the next one is going to be an Africa-exclusive again (Ebola 2.0?).

I still remember last year's Event 201 (or a similar event at least) which had specifically European countries + Saudi Arabia + one other participating, a few months later they announced the monkeyfraud scamdemic that was exclusive to the west.

@ArdainianRight @SuperDicq @lanodan @aven @sim Drag Queens are the strippers of the LGBT community. Most people don't know because they haven't been to gay clubs.

I just saw that the elites did another Event 201 in October this year: https://www.centerforhealthsecurity.org/our-work/exercises/2022-catastrophic-contagion/index.html

>The exercise simulated a series of WHO emergency health advisory board meetings addressing a fictional pandemic set in the near future. Participants grappled with how to respond to an epidemic located in one part of the world that then spread rapidly, becoming a pandemic with a higher fatality rate than COVID-19 and disproportionately affecting children and young people.

Will they soon release the resurrected Spanish Flu or what?
