@djsumdog @RustyCrab @zero I don't have an HDR monitor nor am I picky when it comes to them so that's not a problem with me. Though I want to stop buying Windows hardware just to install Linux on because of that "Microsoft Tax" and Microsoft slowly making it impossible to install Linux and other alternative OSes on their computers.

@rasterman I've also been online for the past couple of days, even if I wasn't interacting with you. Most of it was posting gamedev progress because I'm working on a Spy Hunter clone in C++. Do you seriously think I have time to post queer-bait on some alt account on your instance?

You also think I'm just some troll LARPing as a libertarian, when this is also my gamedev account, hence me using GameLiberty and not Liberdon. I've just been a little more political just because of certain events going on in the past couple of years.

@rasterman
>He still holds on to this retarded theory

The last post I commented on was a ToTK post of yours. I have no idea what hachi has been up to other than getting into a retarded argument about nudism last night.

Oh yeah, absolutely. As much fun as it is to LARP about it, a *real* war like that would be awful on every level.

Unfortunately, state collapse leave big power gaps, so if you aren't ready to swoop in and take control, and let's be honest, how many people that you would want in power are, you have a huge vacuum that gets filled with the worst kind of people.

In relation to all this, I think the way to avoid these things is to start working towards what the Afghanis have somewhat achieved (no not the Taliban). The reason that Afghanistan tends to be unconquerable is that they are made up a multiple tribes, and one agreement ends where the next tribe starts. The Irish had a similar thing and is why they were able to resist British rule for so long during the medieval period.

That's kind of the idea behind the structure of America anyway, but we need to really embrace it. Then you have localized revolutions or breakdowns, or a simple return to tribal law (Somalis also did this after their socialist regime collapsed in the 90's, and it worked out relatively great).

@PurpCat @theorytoe @smallpatatas The admin of DRC said that it's much better with server load than vanilla pleroma. They switched to it after the influx of Twitter users to the Fediverse created more Mastodon instances and DRC couldn't handle all those new connections with Pleroma.

Akkoma is a very "iffy" fork of Pleroma IMO. Namely it removes some features (like the shoutbox), but most notably the developers are notorious for breaking things Pleroma does just because they don't like the people using some feature, leading instance owners to have to try to "remove" the patches removing said features to even keep the instance going. It's a total mess compared to just running stock Pleroma. I've never been able to see anyone tell me anything good Akkoma does, and even custom emojis are now in Pleroma and the other main fork of it (Rebased/Soapbox).

Install the source version, OTP is extremely dated or has been for a while.

@hnygd @malmorrow Acceptance should NEVER be unconditional. There is good and there is evil, some forms of behavior is good, some are bad. You pedophile pieces of shit just want all kinds of immorality and dysfunctional behavior to be tolerated and even celebrated, because YOU are evil and want to corrupt kids.

@djsumdog @RustyCrab @zero I never used Windows ME. Windows Vista was a miserable experience for me, but I also ran it on a very slow netbook. Windows 8 was when they started to require a MSN/Hotmail/Outlook.com account and I ended up using Linux full-time sense then.

Though, I say that Windows 10 and 11 are worse than all four of those because that's when they truly started marketing Windows as a service instead of a product.

We're having a much more fun discussion on a subthread because no one wants to listen to a rambling cunt who doesn't understand the legal system, doesn't understand laws, doesn't understand guns, probably doesn't know how to shoot a gun, is pro-surveillance state and calls everyone retards even though everyone else can quote sources, past links to laws, articles and videos, back up their claims and not be an annoying fuckwit who thinks she's better than everyone else as she's losing every argument she fucking makes.

You are literally being as dumb as the sjw in this thread trying to say Aerith is trans and we are the person below trying to tell you this is why nobody likes you.

You are Wesley Crusher

I think I agree with you actually … and the fact is, America is still in decent shape, especially compared to the rest of the world. Revolutions are not good things. The most moral side is rarely the victor. (If Booth didn’t kill off Lincoln, we would have been headed towards a tyranny .. Lincoln was before term limits).

Most Americas do not want the state to collapse. Especially any Christian who has done any mission work.

I consider them like mutually assured destruction on a personal scale,

Yes. True. but it scales up…

it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government

In a time with no globalism and where the colonies were sustaining themselves, the much smaller intrusion was enough that the rich/influential cult leaders got enough people to take up arms for glory and freedom.

There is a lot more to lose now, but we’ve also gained a lot … we are no where near the tipping point … but when that happens, armed people will create and defend communities to survive … and by communities I do mean warlords and terrible situations.

You don’t really ever want a revolution, but you should be prepared for when one comes.

It's insane what kind of magic can some game devs do, while gigantic game studios are unable to release a game, that runs at all....

@ArdainianRight @theorytoe @lina You just got to keep looking. Check the /agdg/ threads on most video game imageboards or check more niche forums like RPG Codex (they have a section for user created RPGs and are anti-woke).
