upcoming maintenance warning 
in 1-2 hours (or earlier if the blizzard dies down) the matrix server will be taken offline for maybe 10-15 minutes to swap drives from the failing chassis to the new prepped chassis and re-racked
as always i don't suspect any issues but im scheduling about 1 hour of downtime in the event something happens (something has only happened maybe twice)

@Hyolobrika @koimoa @PunishedD @PurpCat Raddle's only saving grace is that it's completely FOSS, unlike Reddit which was only partly open source before becoming completely closed source around 2017-2018. Their wikis also have *some* useful information (like Internet privacy), but it should always be taken with a grain of salt.
@PurpCat @koimoa @PunishedD I've seen worse. I use to lurk block-happy Mastodon instances like lgbt.io or forums like Raddle (basically Reddit for far-leftists) out of pure bile fascination and you will have the exact people that I'm talking about.
I even remember one person complaining about gender dysphoria being removed from the DSM because of the "ableist connotation that having a mental disorder is a bad thing".

Just like how CNN did that one alt-tech video with the woman going on about how it was all shit like moon man videos, bluesky is literally only focusing on Elon Musk and Donald Trump and as one person on another instance put it, it feels like a retirement home for 2010s socjus types on Twitter.
