I was thinking of a name that sounded neutral as possible. We are anti-censorship for the most part, but you said that you don't want the place to be solely associated with loli games and TND/"ETHNOGLOBE NOW" simulators, especially when Poast is helping with hosting the service.

I don't know. I guess it's because there have a been a lot of hobbyist developed games before the rise of commercial indie games and that a huge chunk of these hobbyist games are nowhere near professional quality.

I love it when Poast, DRC, Nicecrew, and the like try to dogpile someone despite the fact that their instance is already defederated.

@applejack I guess you're right. I do plan on including mods for the site as well.

Here is what I have so far. A table for games, a table for tags, and a table for tag links. Eventually, there will be a table for mods, which is why tag_link either references a game or a mod.

Well, it turns out that the vast majority of NoSQL databases are source-available proprietary, and the few FOSS ones are a bit too confusing.

This is why a fucking hate SQL so much. I need to create THREE TABLES just to implement tagging. At least, that's the "proper way". Not to mention all the JOINS and nested queries I have to do.

I should've used MongoDB for this project, but I feel like it's too late to turn things around.

@beardalaxy Speaking of tags. I have to redo the tag system because I just realized that MySQL doesn't support the STRING_SPLIT function that other forms of SQL support. So I have to store tags in a separate table.
