@coolboymew I feel like just numbering the systems destroys the charm of getting a new console. It makes the successor feel more like a mere upgrade. I never liked how the PlayStation and a lesser extent, the Xbox did it. A completely new name always brought a new vibe which made it feel more exciting to see what is next. I feel like that's missing in modern consoles.
>Rumours are that they reached a bunch of developers exactly for that and are gonna be moneyhatting some ports and remakes and such. I expect them to support them for 6 more months to a year-ish after Switch 2's release
I think indies can keep it alive for a few more years. I feel like only AAA games are going to take full advantage of the Switch 2's hardware for the time being.
@mint I think Suiseiseki is a hachi alt. He is just trolling people with free software zealotry on that account instead of trans rights activism.
@Mr_NutterButter They're too extremely niche for me to care either way.
@coolboymew I wish they came with a more original name instead of "Switch 2", but anything is better than "Wii U".
I just hope Nintendo still keeps the original Switch alive for a few more years. Though, it looks like they will given the success of the original Switch.
@Mr_NutterButter It's just the New Hampshire Libertarian Party. Every other "Libertarian" Party is still more (culturally/socially) left or center.
@bonifartius Nobody wants to see my comfyposts because they are too angry about $CURRENT_PSYOP.
@coolboymew @neko @sun The worst ones are the ones that play mobile games.
@mischievoustomato I think people think that they could potentially use copyright and the legal system to "sabotage" AI and prevent it from replacing them. It's not so much about protecting their own copyrighted works. I guess that's also the motivation behind those "data-poisoning" algorithms which causes AIs to produce tainted results if they use your work as sample input.
