@beardalaxy I'm gonna stream your game tomorrow at 5pm EST.

I broke my stream server today so couldn't do it today.

Coming soon to a cjdns near you - ability to send arbitrary control messages from cjdnstool.

Implementing this in C was actually quite straightforward, but getting the functionality into cjdnstool lead me into rewriting the entire Rust bencode infrastructure which had been implemented with serde and bendy in a way that didn't support binary strings.

That doesn't really work because bencode does use binary in strings.

@Hephaestic @vokainen099 @Hyperhidrosis 8chan was already in a decline around 2016 with GamerGate no longer being talked about and the drama regarding Infinity Next. It was basically relegated to the same level as other altchans like 420chan, only being the most popular altchan by far. It wasn't until after the THQ AMA that 8chan was brought back in the limelight again.

>"reddit youtube content" - is that like video essays about the N64 controller, or what?

It could be that, but I also remember YouTube videos that were nothing but compilations of Reddit posts being on the feature video sidebars for whatever reason.

@RK7 @noyoushutthefuckupdad I mean, they do have your posts manually approved for one week and you have to wait at least a year to even view the politics subforum, but I guess they just don't want the types who just talk about tha joos all day and talk about little else.

I thought about creating an account on there, but I went with the fedi instead. Maybe I would've had a better time on there or maybe worse, but I really miss the old 8chan more than anything.

Oh yeah. In light of recent drama in the FOSS community, for those of you who think that they are still better off just sticking to Windows and proprietary software, I got some bad news for you.

@coolboymew @noyoushutthefuckupdad It's mostly for discussion about CRPGs. They've been around since 2002 and are very active to this very day.

It's kind of unique that it is one of the few communities of it's kind that isn't weeb focus, but that is probably due to the fact that it predates 4chan.

@noyoushutthefuckupdad I don't use it, but I've heard that RPGCodex forums are pretty good. It's where a lot of 8chan/v/ users went after the original 8chan shutdown.

I miss internet forums but I'm not using Kiwi Farms. Celebrity gossip and doxing is pretty gay.

>Constantly whines about "American imperialism".
>Endorses European imperialism.

No, you're wrong. Most Americans don't read after graduating high school, let alone a book as lengthy as a bible.

You Europoors only think we are Bible-thumpers because you find bibles in American hotels.

@xianc78 oh that's a chill philosophy. i think a lot would be fixed if we truly had geospatial freedom

@wowaname I'm kind of skeptical on how it would play out in the real world though. It would probably require some social conditioning to remove the tribal urge to have one's ideology dominate the world or region.
