It's interesting that during the 60s/70s, the number of State Department employees at embassies around the world that were also on the CIA payroll nearly outnumbered non-CIA Start Dept employees.

Most Americans don't realize embassies are exchange points for clandestine operations.

Furthermore, announcing which domains I'm blocking gives other responsible admins a heads-up about problem instances.

I can tell you're new here man. No, it really doesn't. No one really cares. It's an unnecessary signaling and honestly perpetuates a false sense of relevance. You are one tiny instance in a sea of thousands. I've been here for over eight years. That censorship will come back around to you eventually.

But whatever man. You're free to do as you wish. 🍻

If you have to block people, I'd recommend blocking individuals over entire servers. I've written a post about Fediverse censorship and how it breaks everything:

https://battlepenguin.com/tech/the-broken-fediverse/

also, there's no need to announce you're blocking someone. That's intentionally making a statement no one cares about. Just block and move on.

@djsumdog @nihilvt @hellhammer666 You couldn't play the singleplayer campaign unless you had the N64 Expansion Pak.

Palantir / ESG it's the same thing. Doesn't any one else notice this? I feel like I'm taking CRAZY PILLS!

You don't like patents and/or copyrights because you believe that property can only rightfully be owned collectively and/or that the rightfullness of ownership depends on who you are, and/or by how much you already have (or don't have,) and/or by how high or low your social status might be.

I don't like patents, nor copyrights, because ownership is ethically justified SOLELY and EXCLUSIVELY by the fact that what is claimed as "property" is subject to rivalrous consumption:

Intellectual property is illegitimate because ideas and information are non-rivalrous and non-excludable by nature. Unlike physical goods, which are scarce and rivalrous (e.g., if I take your apple, you no longer have it), ideas can be shared infinitely without diminishing their availability. Intellectual property laws artificially create scarcity by granting monopolies, which distorts markets and restricts the free flow of knowledge.

To simply say that the Constitution "permits" the States to make gold and silver "legal tender" is a lie by understatement: It doesn't just "permit" it; it explicitly prohibits making anything else legal tender: Article I, section 10.

got the black ceiling tiles in place as well as black walls to place behind the outer walls. the level is basically in a black box and the skybox is pure black so it works really well.

re: gamedev

@bajax There are no experience points. It's more action-adventure than RPG.
