@realcaseyrollins @lostgen @mullvadnet I respect anyone's right to boycott and product/service for political reasons, but these people who go out of their way to make sure not a single penny goes to any cause that is even remotely right-wing are trying way too hard. Eventually, they are going to realize that it's not really possible unless you go completely off-grid.
Mullvad is a political company fighting for free speech, free information and privacy, with two equal co-founders, co-owners and co-CEOs who fundamentally disagree on many issues. Daniel's donation to a political party is private and not part of Mullvad's mission. We protect the right to express and access views we disagree with. We welcome anyone sharing these core values, whatever their other opinions. We are happy to refund others who don't, where we can.
@djsumdog @Svantovit @The_Vampire_Brigade @protos And they keep on pushing Ivermectin as a cure for cancer and even homosexuality. I'm sure it's a psyop to benefit some company.
@FaggotTourney I vote for SMetzeler.
Does anyone know of any multi-purpose microblogging clients? Like something that supports a wide array of microblogging services and APIs. It would be really nice to manage all of your accounts from multiple networks/services in one place and maybe be able to make a post and have it instantly appear on your Twitter, Mastodon, Nostr, BlueSky, Gab, Minds, etc at once.
@beardalaxy I think there is no "right" way to play the game the first time, as long as you are not cheating.
Ship of Harkinian adds so many enhancements and QoL features that there is simply no going back for me. It kind of reminds me of the XBLA port of Perfect Dark. It's literally the exact same game, just enhanced. Though you can still tell that it was originally an N64 game just by how stiff the high-poly models move around in a 90s physics engine, but I feel like it gives it a little charm, almost like a budget Xbox 360 game.
Prominent US war hawk John Bolton has pled guilty to violating the Espionage Act after previously demanding execution for whistleblowers Edward Snowden & Chelsea Manning and 176 years in prison for publisher Julian Assange.
As part of a plea agreement, Bolton admitted to unlawfully retaining sensitive national security information. He now faces up to 5 years in prison, up to 3 years of supervised release, a $2.25 million fine, forfeiture of his pension, and is due to be sentenced on 28 October.
@beardalaxy You can add a bunch of enhancements. You can easily make it look like an early Xbox 360 game with the right mods.
@beardalaxy I'm playing it right now. This is the PC port using the models from the 3DS game.
"Age verification" should be called by its real name: ID verification—a new form of mass surveillance.
Parents already have effective tools to protect their children online: parental controls, screen time limits, or no device at all.
More surveillance won’t fix social media’s harms. Instead, let’s hold big tech accountable for the toxic algorithms fueling addiction, manipulation, outrage, and polarization.
