@coolboymew I'm disappointed that there is no alarm. I think a digital clock is useless without one and the lack of a kick stand means I can't put it on a nightstand or counter (places where putting a digital clock actually makes sense). So yeah the clock functionality is useless especially when literally every electronic device can tell time for decades now.
And forget hacking this thing. The pause button only pauses the emulator, so it would be useless in a game like Zelda when the pause menu brings up an inventory menu. Maybe you could change the actual emulator, but you still have to deal with the lack of a select button (I probably should've noticed that earlier).
I just hope Nintendo does the same thing for Zelda next year. I think a more full length game like Zelda would be more worth the price (even though I think the first Zelda game has aged terribly) and hopefully they will fix on the issues of this one.
@coolboymew Are you willing to try The Lost Levels?
@coolboymew I don't think it automatically makes hacking the system illegal. It's probably a legal gray area like installing macOS on a non-Apple branded computer. I haven't seen this being tried in courts. Apparently, this is the same EULA Nintendo used on the NES and SNES minis and I've never heard of any court cases involving this.
If anything, it would probably allow Nintendo to go after modchips or kits that allow users to hack and mod their devices (the mere fact you made one is proof that you hacked their device). Nintendo tried to go after cheat devices in the past, so it doesn't really surprise me that Nintendo would try to do such a thing.
@coolboymew Also there is a disclaimer on the back of the box saying that you agree to the EULA by purchasing the system. I guess that's your "warning".
@coolboymew I think it will allow them to go after those making tutorials on how to hack it because it does say that you are not allowed to tamper with it.
>You may not...bypass, modify, defeat, tamper with, or circumvent any of the functions or protections of the System
It also says you can't reverse engineer the software even though that falls under fair use. I guess they could go after you if you document the changes of the ROM on TCRF or something.
The only way they can actually punish you is by taking you to court.
@coolboymew This thing comes with a fucking EULA.

So apparently Bud Light of all companies is making a game console. (https://invidious.snopyta.org/watch?v=qpu4IchSlJg)

>Honestly, the facebook pages functions is the best damn thing on the site. You can get good curated content from one or multiple admin.
>Having the same thing but with username would have been amazing honestly.
I think Diaspora* has something similar to this.
FediSus, finding things to block!
@coolboymew My local Chinese buffet has only two bars for Chinese food and all the other bars have shit like this. And the bars for Chinese food isn't even real Chinese food. Hell, I probably never had real Chinese food in my life and I'm 1/4 Chinese.
@coolboymew Pictochat is probably the most useless chat client ever made. What's the point of sending messages to people >30 feet from you?
@mewmew No way in hell I'm sticking my dick in an open wound.
@okabe_rintarou @coolboymew Just get an e-ink reader (they're less straining on the eyes). Color ones exist now. (https://goodereader.com/blog/product-category/color-ink) As for movies, laptops are perfect for that. Especially if it still has a DVD drive.
