Imagine the sting from skinny dipping with that open wound, especially in a salt-water beach. Imagine all the infections you could get.

I actually feel sorry for nudists now. They should not have to see that in the open.

Remember when people started killing government agents in mass to keep them from destroying our lives and ruining our civilization?

Oh right, that's because they all just complained on TV and around the water cooler and comedians made their jokes and prime time TV brushed it off as "aint that life".

Thank god for the internet and open communication. Really changed how we allow ourselves to become slaves.

Remember when they killed bin Laden and we didn't have to remove our shoes in airport security anymore? Can't wait for those Pandemic restrictions to end once they kill covid.

@beardalaxy I think people liked him because the previous president, Hiroshi Yamauchi was a complete asshole (at least from reports and interviews) and wasn't on board with Nintendo becoming a video games company. Iwata on the other hand had passion for video games and he was also familiar with game development (specifically game progamming), so he had both better connections with his employees and customers. It also helps that Iwata knew English, so there was a more direct connection to him and western audiences.

I didn't know what this was. I was busy with finals and didn't have time to look at video game news, but at first glance it looks like you are limited to the generic robot models and what other models they provide you. It looks like you can make 2D textures though. I think we have to wait and see if this would be a viable game making tool. You might be limited to making simple arcade style games and not much more.

The way you program by connecting lines to objects reminds me of UML diagrams, but that's probably intentional as this appears to be an educational tool.

@beardalaxy Wii was a fad and was basically dead after 2009 even if it was the best-selling console of that generation and Wii U goes without saying. Nintendo always had a near-monopoly on handhelds so the DS and 3DS don't count and as much as a success the Switch is, it's really just a rebranded Nvidia Shield Tablet with detachable wiimotes.

It's funny that you mentioned the "in my hear I'm a gamer" quote because one of the last things he proposed was a non-gaming entertainment device (that "quality of life" project that probably went nowhere because whatever purposed it served was already covered by smartphones). He was compassionate about video games though. He made calculator games back in high school and PC games in college. He was just wrong in trying to market to people who would otherwise never play video games which only worked with the Wii.

@ChristiJunior@neckbeard.xyz @Secftblgirl Last year, I was hoping the BLM riots would make people forget about COVID while also developing herd immunity.

Hyrule Castle launching in the trailer implies it involves more than BoTW Hyrule. Some have been suggesting space travel, but I doubt that given that we know little of the world outside of Hyrule let alone its entire universe.

>unless the game's dungeon selection gets a serious boost in terms of quantity, quality AND variety
I want actual dungeons this time. The shrines and even the divine beasts were nothing more than physics puzzles, but I guess it's hard to come up with traditional puzzles when you have a realistic physics engine that could allow you to cheat on some of them. And breakable items don't allow that Metroidvania feel from the dungeons of previous games. They probably have to write a separate physics engine for dungeons and shrines.

Another thing I'm speculating is that they want the game to be fully voiced this time, not just in cutscenes which can add development time finding voice actors and recording lines. BoTW proved that voice acting in Zelda can work, so they're probably going one step further.

@ArdanianRight @ChristiJunior@neckbeard.xyz My guess is that they added a second region/world. Which seems natural because people don't want to just play on the same map as the previous game.

@ChristiJunior When was the last major 3D Zelda to not experience some kind of delay or development trouble? I think Majora's Mask might actually have been the only one period.
