this isn’t the wild west where there’s some local gang you can take on, the decisions effecting you are made far away by people you can’t name and probably can’t even learn the identities of

decoupling from them as much as possible doesn’t require knowing who they are but most people can’t do that either

@Jdogg247 Why do they keep using the term "conspiracy theory" for things that are supported by evidence? I get that this is just one part of a much larger propaganda campaign but are these people not familiar with the law of diminishing returns? When they make the claim that everything is a conspiracy theory (also racist, homophobic, transphobic, etc) it lessens its impact and people inevitably tire of it.

@vriska look it's easy:
1. Two weeks to flatten the curve
2. Stay at home, stay masked
3. Vaccination is the way to beat this
4. If you're vaccinated you still spread the virus, so keep distancing and masking
5. You can get the virus when vaccinated because it doesn't protect 100% so keep testing
6. Vaccination doesn't work because there's a new variant.
