@rasterman @ChristiJunior I place my bets that Thomas Jefferson would be a full on anarcho-capitalist if he was alive today.

@underwater@neckbeard.xyz @ChristiJunior @judgedread It died after WWI. After WWI, Western Europe wanted to emulate the US and the US had to be involved in nearly every foreign affair.

@ItsSkyDragonz MegaMan.EXE can travel across the Internet within minutes. I'm not sure Kirby's Warp Star can outrun that.

I was actually looking up MegaMan.EXE vs Kirby and just found a Death Battle fannon for MegaMan.EXE and Kirby but it's unfinished. The comments are placing their bets on EXE though.

@ItsSkyDragonz He can survive the destruction of the Internet which is basically the whole universe to him. AFAIK, Kirby can survive a planet's destruction and that's about it.

@ItsSkyDragonz MegaMan.EXE could probably beat him in a heart beat, but he's a computer program so that probably doesn't count.

I would say 99.9xxx survival rate.

Can you say that about the vaccines?

Indirectly calling other users nazis: Totes ok by Gamefaqs standards if you're trolling for the grain
Being just slightly critical of LGBT: Harsh moderation
Which is totes ironic because I was arguing that the study of 2019 with "acceptance" being down among the 18 to 3x group is exactly because of this sort of deadly obvious preferential treatment

I don't know why I even visit other sites anymore

@icedquinn Not even that. It's pretty much confirmed now that HCQ and Ivermectin are effective treatments for COVID, yet both of those require a prescription.

@icedquinn Now, let's imagine all the cures and vaccines we could have if we actually had a free market.

so let me get this straight

the public does useful work
the government steals our money at gunpoint
the public then pays for fauci's agency to do experiments
who then patents the result of the experiments we paid for
and then profiteers on the research we were forced to pay for

remind me again why the government, a non-profit public service, feels the need to seek patents to, i quote,

NIH said in a statement that its scientists created the “stabilized coronavirus spike proteins for the development of vaccines against coronaviruses, including SARS-CoV-2,” and the government consequently has “sought patents to preserve the government’s rights to these inventions.”

Oh boy... you did...

@coolboymew Long term effects are still a concern (that's why it takes at least a decade to develop a vaccine) and I don't think there's any point in taking a vaccine for a disease that has basically become endemic at this point. Delta variant has already broke through immunity (look at what's happening in Israel). I think most people are better off eating healthy and exercising to boost their immune system which is what I've been doing lately.
