@beardalaxy I just hate it when it clearly looks like it can't be done on retro hardware. Shit like 360 degree rotating sprites, clusters of sprites (old consoles can't do that without flickering), etc. You don't have to work exactly within the limitations. Shovel Knight had to break them just to get black people in the game (lol). But most of the time, it's hard to believe that the devs even grew up with the consoles they are trying to emulate.
