If Distributism favors localism over nationalism and globalism, then I think you might be interested in the seasteading movement. It's mostly comprised of ancaps and other right-libertarians but it's meant for anyone to make their ideology a reality.
Distributists might be especially interested since seasteading can lead to self-sustainable communities.
@ChristiJunior @ArdanianRight If they just moved on to the GameCube without the IP change they could've had more time and resources to polish it. I think the main problem was trying to have a Zelda-size game on top of having full voice acting, all while doing it on an N64 cartridge which can only hold 64MB max.
@ChristiJunior @ArdanianRight They did make a few fuck ups like meddling with Rare's N64 magnum opus and turning it into a Star Fox spin-off.
@Andrii @matthew@helladoge.com @herag @ardaissad @Alex @Indigo @maksimilian_stepniakov @vera @0x520 @top @lanodan @kerosene @waltercool @cee @shebang @icedquinn Well I haven't looked that much into Distributism. As long as there isn't a centralized state controlling these micropolities, then that would be fine. I might go with libertarian distributist or anarcho-distributist.
I kind of find it strange. Despite being raised Catholic, I've never heard about Distributism until recently. Most Catholics I know tend to be pro-capitalist but are more willing to work out of the kindness of their heart than for profit.
@lanodan I see neither of them being used and they are both owned by Microsoft.
@lanodan Oh yeah and TypeScript. Forgot that they own that.
@lanodan Who even uses this? The only Microsoft languages that I ever see being used are C#, Visual Basic, and Batch files.
@vriska You know nothing about computers yet you run your own instance.
Today I realized the Bible had something really important to say about cancel culture: "he that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone".
Point is, no one who participates in this vile practice is by any means "without sin", even in the eyes of progressive culture alone.
But then again, cancel culture never was about virtue. It's not even truly about virtue signalling. It's about getting a rush of adrenaline from knowing you have power over others, deadly power than can destroy people's lives.
Like a king, in ages of old, had the power to execute anyone he pleased, so too does the woke mob want to wield a devastating power.
Woke progressives are tyrants at heart. Cancel culture is just one of the signs of that. Never forget it.
