Not everyone has the same type of fish that's why. Ramen is also very popular here, but it's the type of food that you eat if you're broke or bad at cooking.

@ryo If you want something even more minimalist than SDL, there is also GLFW. It's a wrapper for OpenGL. It handles windows and input, but audio needs to be handled by a separate library.
