@coolboymew @Moon The only way to truly stop e-celeb culture is to have everyone be anonymous. And I mean imageboard anonymous, as in you can't tell if two posts are from the same user (maybe unless they are in the same thread).

@coolboymew @Moon Honestly, is it any different than 10grans or any other possible tipping-bot? I know 10grans isn't meant for actual investing or trade, but I do know that AnarkioCrypto was working on a Monero bot for the fedi and that other crypto bots can be created.

AFAIK, the zaps aren't even part of the official Nostr protocol. It's an optional feature that some clients have implemented.

Raiders from Poast and DRC just want to bully everyone there because it's a right-libertarian echo chamber and there are actual women on there.

Alex Gleason thinks it's potentially better than the fedi because so many people follow him but the servers end up blocking his instance. I kind of agree because this instance blocking culture does get out of hand. Even instances like Poast block other instances like rDrama for dumb reasons.

@realcaseyrollins That would probably be difficult. Torrents aren't dynamic. You could store text, images, etc on a torrent, but you can't have the equivalent of a database on a torrent. You would need something like a blockchain or a P2P merkle tree to manage it all.

@realcaseyrollins Most of it is just crypto talk. I'm not anti-crypto but they put too much faith in Bitcoin (I don't see that much talk about Monero there which is actually anonymous), and I like to talk about other stuff. And most of it is just people begging for "zaps".

@ryo There are going to be more handheld gaming PCs on the market soon anyway.
