@beardalaxy Phase it out with sweet tea, then half-and-half, then unsweet tea. That's what I did back in high school.

@coolboymew @BaronBurdock@liberdon.com Like what? I only download fan translations and rarely download other hacks.

Now in Effect: Louisiana Law Makes State the 5th to Recognize Gold and Silver as Legal Tender.

Beyond the provisions to make gold and silver legal tender, the bill also specifies that “no person shall incur any liability for refusal to accept recognized legal tender for the payment of debts, except as provided by contract.”

In practice, including this contract clause means if parties voluntarily agree to be paid, or to pay, in gold and silver coin or bullion, the Louisiana courts could not substitute any other thing, e.g. Federal Reserve Notes, as payment.

@ArdainianRight It seems like we are going to have both WWIII and Civil War II simultaneously.

I really hope this is not the case.

Everyone should really try to set up a searx instance on their machines. There's only a few hundred users right now. If enough decent folks started running it and scraped a little piece of the Internet they care about (you can even set it up as a proxy server to scrape any site you've been to) then we'd have a search platform that, while imperfect, would at least actually have all the sites places like Google refuses to show.

@BigDawg869789 The first one aired exclusively on Paramount+ and it was a live action sitcom where Timmy went to college and gave his fairies to his younger cousins. Not only did it end after one season, but Paramount+ also delisted it, so there is no way to legally watch it anymore.

@berkberkman @BigDawg869789 Butch Hartman has been hinting at a Danny Phantom for years, but it seems unlikely as he has long left the studio to focus on his Christian cartoon. He stuck around as an executive producer for the first FOP reboot, though I'm unaware of his involvement with the recent one. Butch Hartman is a pretty controversial figure now so it's possible that Nick has cut ties with him completely.

There was also the Tranny Phantom shooting and one has to wonder if it destroyed any potential of a DP revival.

@BigDawg869789 Believe it or not, this is actually Fairly Odd Parents' SECOND reboot. The first one aired on Paramount+ two years ago and it contradicts this one. The FOP timeline has more branches than the Zelda timeline and it's insane.

So the new Fairly Odd Parents series seems to be even worse than I thought. Poof makes an appearance as an adult, but his name is now Peri because apparently, "Poof" is a homophobic slur in some countries. Him appearing as an adult makes no sense because I thought fairies aged slowly, but he claims that he hasn't seen his parents in over 10,000 years, but it still doesn't make sense because he is godparenting Doug Dimmadome's grandson.

Butch Hartman REALLY got screwed.

@beardalaxy Well if it's something like (pre-BOTW) Zelda or Metroid, then you need 40-hours worth of unique items that allow you to progress throughout the adventure and you need to be really creative with said items. The only other way I know how to do it is just to have a complete open-world like GTA or the newer Zelda games where it is completely non-linear or has a bunch of side-quests.
