So I watched Synthetic Man's review of Kirby Air Riders and he makes a point about multiplayer games that don't get updated in that they get boring once someone knows the ins and outs of the game.

He points out how he was able to memorize all the spawn points in City Trial and how his brother won't play with him anymore because of it. I had the exact same experience when I played 007 Nightfire with my brother, many years ago. We memorized all the grappling hook locations on all the maps and there was no limit on the distance you can grapple to. So we were just zip-lining across the map and we couldn't kill each other because we were quick to hookshot to the other side. That's why it's hard for me to get into multiplayer games, it's quick enough for me to find every exploit.

I think this gets into the "victim as virtue" idea. I remember Helen Dale (Australian lawyer/author) talking about how Roman society didn't have a concept for virtue in victimization. Works like the Book of Job didn't really resonate in Roman society. Dales makes the argument Romans didn't believe in refinement through trial, although I question that stance since they did have The Odyssey and other popular works/theater that fit the standard heroes journey.

If Christianity was the moving force that pushed the idea of virtuous persecutions (e.g. "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven."), it would make sense that people would eventually seek out persecution as a means of increasing their virtue.

#AskFedi, Is there a way I can send messages through #DeltaChat from a script, so that I could use it for sending myself notifications (e.g., reminders) from a separate Delta account?

/cc #CLI, #commandline, #scripting, @delta

You've probably noticed in the previous video that the player would make a "bump" before landing on the platform. I fixed it.

@dcc @gabriel The screenshoted tweet openly states that it's been funded by tax-payer money. It's just socialism for rich people.

"But it's not capitalism it's...." Nobody cares, it's indefensible.
This isn't a new pattern limited to the AI bubble, it's the same scam just becoming more blatant as power consolidates.

@Zergling_man @djsumdog Colleges have been pushing feminism for decades. It wouldn't surprise me if even back then there were a few men who couldn't get a girlfriend because all the women they talked to swallowed the propaganda.

@djsumdog This person talks non-stop about "femicide", the belief that woman are purposefully being hunted and killed just for being women. Maybe, that's the case in some third-world shitholes, but she is making it look like that woman have to be constantly on guard. It's literally the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

@djsumdog And it turns out that this person has a bounty put on you.

And of course they label Miles Mathis as a flat-earther despite him saying multiple times that he thinks flat-earth is a psyop.

@waff @lina It's hard not to talk about politics when you got people on top who think that shoving us into pods, forcing us to eat bugs, and giving up our property rights is a good idea.

Otherwise, I'm sick of talking about it.

Just started programming on my next game dev project. Right now, I only have movement and the gravity flipping mechanic implemented, but more is to come!
