When an animal sourced outbreak happens. They usually find the source animal and virus and get the genome within a few months. We still don't have that, nor does it seem anyone is pursuing finding an animal source. It 100% came from a lab. 50% chance it wasn't a leak, but a test.

The pandemic is merely revealing the abnormal which has always existed around us but which we have never really noticed previously.

People have always been this way and will always continue to be this way. It's simply that, for a brief interlude, their foibles have become manifested visibly.

When the pandemic is over, the visible weirdness will disappear to once again creep around us invisibly.
