@ArdainianRight best to ignore the riffraff and focus on what you like and enjoy. Put more good & beautiful things in the world to counter the disgusting stuff :nacho_pat:

The other day I said that we should resist the New World Order takeover by laughing at the powers that shouldn't be and refrain from violence.
Multiple people told me that it won't work, only goes to show you how little they understand the whole purpose of Agenda 2030.

They WANT you to go violent, they WANT you to trigger a worldwide violent revolution, they WANT you to lose faith in national governments, so that the UN one world government can come in as the solution.
As much as I believe we need to have no governments at all, at least with 200 national governments we still have options with variable levels of tyranny, while under a 1 world government you're either a slave or dead.
And under a 0 government system, we're all free human beings, exactly how nature intended.

I honestly want one of these even though they were used in a brutal genocide that even the Nazis were disgusted at. They look pretty badass.

This isn't even limited to the console UI's themselves. Even the services lost personality.

As much as people shat on the original Wii for having lackluster online (friend-codes, no voice-chat in most games, etc), it has much more personality than the Switch's online. I had a lot of fun with the Everybody Votes Channel, the News and Forecast Channels, and the Check Mii Out Channel. Why aren't they on Switch? All we have now (besides multiplayer) is a news feed and the e-shop.

Even going before the Wii, the Japan-only Satellaview had a fucking town as it's main menu. I'm not saying you should go all out like that but at least have something that doesn't look like it was out of Windows 8.

I don't have that much online experience on other consoles, but this is something I at least notice with Nintendo.

What the fuck happened to game console BIOS/OS/IPL/Firmware menus? They use to have a ton of personality to them. The Saturn had a fucking spaceship traveling through a star field. The Dreamcast always has that relaxing underwater-esqe background. GameCube had a floating cube with a very slow cover of the Famicom Disk System start up playing in the background.

Now look at modern consoles like the Xbox One/Series and the Switch. Their menus look now different from menus on streaming services. It's fucking bland.

for the record you don't have to "sign up" for anything related to the 10grans fedi tipbot. if you don't like it, you just reply to it. once.

Changed the boss's movement pattern. I'm basically trying to emulate the final boss of Super Mario Land in terms of behavior.

I'm probably also going to change the sprite as well because almost all of the other bosses use this same sprite (finding free assets is hard and I'm not a good artist).

https://www.newsweek.com/texas-secede-us-2023-gop-pushes-referendum-1717254?amp=1

Under a section titled “State Sovereignty,” the platform states: “Pursuant to Article 1, Section 1, of the Texas Constitution, the federal government has impaired our right of local self-government. Therefore, federally mandated legislation that infringes upon the 10th Amendment rights of Texas should be ignored, opposed, refused, and nullified.

Holy based!

“Texas retains the right to secede from the United States, and the Texas Legislature should be called upon to pass a referendum consistent thereto.”

Referendum won’t do shit, but I love the idea of putting it back in people’s minds.

@nk @xianc78 @Shadowman311 Here's some tips I've found over time and oh boy there's a lot:
1. Consider what every post you make would look like with your real face and name attached to it. This is honestly the most important one from experience and I follow this all the time. As a bonus learning to paraphrase things will likely convince more people.
2. Never reuse usernames across more than one site, and especially not on any website where you're making yourself a target. Case in point, making a poa.st account is riskier than making a FSE/SPC/bae.st account. Ditto with posting on kf.net (not so much kf.cc, the fedi instance).

Pick an identity from say a movie character or some shit, or something popular + random numbers, or shit go on one of those "identity generator" sites.
3. Be careful when signing up for other sites/joining other Discord servers, especially if they're balls deep in enemy territory and especially if you're going to fuck with them. Use a VPN and different email address. Common sense these days I know, but lots of people still make this mistake.

Plus, you never know which wagie working at the ISP call center that day might give out your address. Remember the very first scene in the movie Hackers once the guy's released from prison where he's calling up the guy to get access to the TV network and pretending to be a tech guy? That happens IRL a lot.
https://blog.joemanna.com/introduction-to-social-engineering-call-centers/
Or here's a more harmless prank call involving social engineering (some of the nastier PrankNet calls revolved around this too which led to $$$ in property damage and lots of charges):
https://yewtu.be/watch?v=h8kWcggio5A

This is more likely with you know, tech industry centered troons and the like.
4. Get your name removed from the "people listing" sites by searching yourself. Protip: voting in many states also gets you onto these and self doxes you. Whoops.
5. This is important too, don't make enemies if you don't want them. This sounds stupid but remember, I know a crusty troon who was whining that "nazis" wanted him dead, before admitting that he was not only doxing people but sending them to his antifa buddies for "direct action". That's like bragging that you're a gang member telling his homies your address.
6. Don't namedrop too many of your interests and hobbies and especially if they're niche shit. If they're niche shit, someone from your past is far more likely to say HE'S THAT GUY.
7. Don't trust anyone too much. Ricky Vaughn (the e-celeb on Twitter who named himself after the Major League character) got doxed in part because of this, and because a lot of political scenes on the fringe devolve into purity spirals and online fights. The same shit goes on with antifa groups all the time.

Plus what if your friend gets a FBI visit and they seize his devices and find your edgy memes? Remember the guy in CVille got 419 years in prison where the evidence that it was a "hate crime" revolved around edgy memes on his phone, and the Jogger case had the same thing apply. Edgy shit that you said while angry can and will be used against you.
8. Probe files for metadata before you post them, .doc/.docx files are the worst offenders along with image files. On a related note, don't fucking click on Google Drive/Docs links unless you're in a private tab/vpn not logged in. If you're logged in it'll tell the uploader who is looking at it.
9. If you're streaming, use another PC or OS install to do it. This is another way people get doxed or have embarrassing shit (usually fetishes) outed. Ditto if you're going to be leaking stuff. If you have a work or school device ALWAYS assume it's backdoored/keylogging/monitoring you.
10. This circles back to 1, but don't post photos of yourself doing anything illegal, like doing drugs or showing off illegal guns. Of course with Red Flag laws about to pass, don't even imply you have guns or might be a part of an illegal political group. Don't put gun maker or gun boomer stickers on your car, don't open carry in Lowe's while wearing an infowars shirt.
